Blind Item #12

I think in the next year or so, we are going to wonder why no one did anything to help this former tweener turned adult actress/singer as she killed herself with booze and drugs. The thing is though, she has had several interventions and multiple trips to rehab. The only thing I haven't seen tried is a 24/7 sober coach. She needs it. Probably the worst weekend I have seen her have in two years.

    1. can’t think of anyone else but her. Spotted buying wine w/a friend at Target in Irvine.

“It is tempting to think of this sighting as definitive proof that Gomez, like most people, will be skipping Coachella entirely, but this likely isn’t the case. According to Elle, this particular Target is about two hours away from the festival and on the exact route to Indio, where Coachella is held, from Gomez’s home in Beverly Hills. So you can probably expect to see Gomez in attendance when Beyoncé performs tonight”

  2. Selena Gomez comes to mind.

  3. Curious to know if like LiLo she too was a victim of Hollywood child sex abuse?

  4. Bella Thorne at Coachella?

  5. Maybe blowing out a donor kidney will be her rock bottom.

  6. I can't find a thing about Demi or Selena that would be bad this weekend, except Selena might have gone to Coachella with a friend and $3Chuck.

  7. I never used to have sympathy for these girls that get addicted, but man they have it way worse than guys when it comes to addiction. Guy's don't have many options when they get strung out and on the end of their ropes, but girls get to that point and the real hell just begins. They get taken advantage of sexually and emotionally, and it's a brutal thing to watch.

That's how I can't understand why there isn't someone in Selena's life that loves her enough to keep her on lock down long enough for her brain to heal.

  8. @Justin, how would you suggest a man keep an adult woman he loves "on lock down" here in 2018 when she has a perfect right to go do whatever she likes whenever she likes?

    1. I think Justin meant anyone in her life - not necessarily a man or romantic relationship... (if I read that correctly)

    2. Wow Cail, your bias is showing! Justin didn't say a man should do that. He wrote someone who loves her. That includes parents, friends, etc

    3. If I were in that situation I'd pray that my husband or father would try to keep me on lockdown.

  9. I think there was a blind about Selena being abused by her mother's boyfriend.

  10. Whatever is said about it here, Britney Spears' family taking over saved her life. It is possible to do, if certain criteria are met. Whoever this is, I hope she has a family willing and able to do it. She sounds like she needs the help. This industry is so toxic, no matter what your age.

  11. Selena was photographed this weekend buying plenty of alcohol at Target. Google it. Funnily enough there aren't many articles about it.

  12. Does Selena not have an assistant who could make a target booze run for her? Or maybe she's at the point of not caring about her image anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @MamaLo, fair enough. Maybe a woman in her life could "lock her down" against her will.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Rather than vent your venom at words on a screen "lock her down", how about you vent it at the people who got her in this mess? She was NOT an adult when it started and "against her will" is just about the most hypocritical thing I've seen because you're acting as if you're so socially aware to allow all women to make their own mistakes and have no one intervene to attempt to - what from this blind sounds - legtimately save her life. It is a form of misogyny to assign the total blame to this kid who never stood a chance. I read it as you saying she got herself into this mess and she can get herself out.

This faux outrage at everything is disgusting especially when it highlights extremely subtle and shady victim blaming.

  15. And as I passed by many a sign begging for a kidney for a loved one on my way home today, the fact that she is doing this sickens me. So many people on waiting lists for kidneys. They resort to posting signs on highways, in people’s yards.

    1. She is psychotic. When addiction is that severe, the person beneath hardly exists anymore.

  16. Demi has a picture on instagram in a pool. I saw the picture of Selena at Target...no biggie...I'd have to see actual pictures of her chugging. Bella looks awful with that scroungey heroin looking Bf...gruesome twosome. Another beautiful ginger ruining herself with poor choices.

  17. @Maria, save your own outrage. If she wants to go to a party and get drunk, and you try to stop her, that's "against her will," regardless of why either of you is doing it.

I'm thinking of a couple situations where people I know have tried to help someone who's out of control, and they weren't allowed to. You can say it's to "save her life," but that's a hard thing to prove to a court. If she's an adult, a judge doesn't care about your opinion of whether she's acting out now because of things done to her when she was young. You're out of luck unless you can prove that she's an immediate threat to herself or others, and even then you're usually only buying a temporary reprieve.

I'd be glad to go back to a society where parents and other guardians were held (and allowed to be) more responsible for those in their care. That's not the one we live in, though.

  18. She can get one (sober coach) I"m sure it's been suggested before in the 15 times she's been to rehab but the asshole probably said no.
Maybe she wants to die. Who the fuck knows. ALl I know is that someone with her means could really get help if they wanted to, and she doesn't, so maybe she doesn't care. Too bad she made her friend give up a kidney for her in order for Selena to keep killing herself slowly. Shame shame shame

  19. If this is Selena, her assistant probably refuses to buy her alcohol, she would not want to be responsible for what happens. It may take someone in her family to go to court to declare her incompetent, that her drinking is basically suicidal behavior. In Brittney 's case her children were in danger.

  20. @Justin you are delusional if you think people (men) dont sexually and emotionally abuse teenage boys / young men who have addiction problems, only thing is girls can garner sympathy and maybe talk about their problems more openly. No one is going to white knight an abused male addict.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wasn't there a blind floating around that she is indeed trying to kill herself? I would never make that up but I do recall a blind and she was the popular guess.

  22. Somewhat off topic,it is pretty clear now Mariah's manager was blackmailing her,we must have gotten a dozen blinds about this woman, and she now is suing for violating her civil rights. Didn't we all know Mariah walked around naked all the time and acted crazy? So basically, the manager admits she signed contract with a person who was not mentally stable.

  23. Pretty sure Selena's real addiction is to Bieber.

  24. For what it's worth: The company I worked for about a half dozen years ago had some account reps who worked with members of Justin Bieber's family. They came back from a meeting and told us that the entire Bieber/Gomez relationship was a PR show and not real at all.

Maybe that changed, maybe it was a lie to begin with. Just passing on gossip we were told.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Guesser: I think Mariah's problem was worse than blackmail. Let's look at money laundering, trafficking, etc. with a side of ex-beau Packer also in cahoots.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am fully aware the Bieber Gomez relationship started as a total PR move many years ago - she's like 3 years older than him! But then after so much time together and the sex and drugs blah blah I think it became something real, whatever that may be but yes, it was originally PR all the way.

Also - did nobody else watch that Oprah fiasco she did with Lindsay Lohan a few years ago where Lindsay showed any last doubters what a real asshole she truly is? Well SHE had a sober coach and she ditched the girl and hid from her and wouldn't meet her and blah blah...

Point is - nobody can help you if you don't want help so even a 24/7 sober coach won't help if she doesn't want one.

  27. +M Styles yep, i know what blind you're talking about. it was called "counting down to 27". my guess was either selena gomez or bella thorne for that blind, and i'm guessing it's between one of them with this blind as well

  30. This obviously doesn’t apply to everyone, but the lack of knowledge regarding addiction as a mental illness here is staggering. Sending hugs and compassion to all in hopes that you can find a way to do the same.

  31. If come on now if this is Selena people were saying she would be dead last year or the year before for drugs and booze

    ReplyDelete
  32. If she wanted to clean she would be avoiding triggers..seems to me like she chases them full throttle..only way to get help is to want help..all addicts have moments of clarity where they choose to throw sobriety away..to make excuses for her based on past abuse or trams is enabling said addict..I know very well ..I'm an addict in recovery ..one day at a time
