Blind Item #15

You know what you never hear about and that totally got swept under a rug was the five seconds and if you blinked it was taken care of with a piece of paper of the sexual assault claim of this woman against this B+ list mostly movie actor who starred in one of those romantic comedies that makes every man feel inadequate. The actor gets confused with a lot of other actors who share the same name.

    2. Yeah, actually, there are skits and cutaways I've seen on Family Guy. I understand both guesses, (Dylan/Dermot, Pullman/Paxton,) and I think you both have great guesses.

HOWEVER, Tricia, if it is Derek, (whom I never liked and thought he picked on you for no good reason on the old format,) please please do not engage with this person! I really like your quick guesses, even if they aren't always spelled or guessed correctly!! And, maybe they are wrong, but the guess will lead to a better guess! Who gives a f*ck! I also notice you compliment others, act very humble in your CDaN knowledge when praised, and are pretty positive in your feedback to others. Derek was an asshole on the other site and a lot of us left when that shiz was happening. Well, that and the pop ups! Don't do this to me, enty!

I'm an everyday CDaN reader, along with a couple other sites, I almost never comment though, just lurk lol. I haven't figured out all the Himmmms yet. I love the hilarious comments from other readers, (shout outs to sandybrook, Sara, Brayson, Candy Crowley, donkieballs where ya been? and Jerkula. Yes, even Jerkula. I get the joke.) Any others I missed, sorry bout that!

TL:DR if it's Derek, just ignore him and keep being awesome CDaNers. You go, Tricia13.

    1. I'm curious, too. I was on a really long flight with he, his wife, their toddler and a baby. He was up walking around with either one or the other throughout the flight and seemed to be a caring, thoughtful dad. Any time one of the kids fussed, he was right on it. To me that says a lot about a man.

Simply heard he was a player (or tried to be ) , and I met her at the Chateau about 12 years ago.. acting very single (before their split), obnoxious, and rude.. course she was with Brad Pitt (a “friend”), and he wa s overly charming. Made up for her-bleakness

  8. It said it's a name shared by a LOT of other actors, so I think it would be one of the Chrises.

    ReplyDelete
  9. was thinking one of the chrises too. my first pick was chris pratt bc the blind seems to imply it would be rather unexpected. i REALLY hope it isn't him though, because i do like chris pratt quite a bit and i've had a rough year bc i keep finding out that actors specifically that i really liked are predators... i don't wanna be disappointed/angered again

  10. I'm guessing the piece of paper said "Pay to the order of" on it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Pullman, movie being While You Were Sleeping? Hope not, I like him. Kinda seems like a stretch for this blind also.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I know Bill Pullman and it's not him... He's a real family guy.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Not long after his recent death, there were claims that Paxton harrassed women in the Big Love cast. No surprise that it wasn't pursued. Haven't heard anything bad about Pullman. But this blind is not about Paxton, sounds like a Chris..

    ReplyDelete
  14. Dermot Mulroney never really made men feel inadequate in movies. Especially the early characters / My Best Friends Wedding. I would assume a Chris

    ReplyDelete
  15. I always confuse Dermott Mulroney and Dylan McDermott. So that's a good guess.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dylan McDermott
    Dermot Mulroney
    Dean McDermott

    Pick one.

  18. But now WHICH Chris?

    Hemsworth?
    Evans?
    Pratt?
    Pine?

I don't get them confused. If anything, I got Dermot Mulroney and Dylan McDermott mixed up.

It doesn't sound like Bill Pullman but then I don't wanna think bad of Bill Paxton, either. It's sorta shitty to disparage a dead man's memory, or accuse him of something when he cannot defend himself.

  19. Neither of the Chris are B list. Don’t care for them but they are A’s. Im going with Dylan or Dertball

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dylan McDermott Mulroney don't really have the same name.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It also could be a John. There are TONS of Johns.

    ReplyDelete
  22. one of the 1000 British Hughs? or a lesser Skarsgard

    ReplyDelete
  23. Enty said he gets confused with a lot of other actors who share the same name. So I think we are on the right track with a group like the Ryan’s or Chris’ but those are all A’s. So it’s more than one actor he gets confused with so not Dylan M.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Or Dermot. Who else is named Dermot?

      Delete
  24. "Share the same name" seems like the same first or last name, not similarly sounding names.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is Chris Hemsworth.
In the movie remake "Vacation" with Christina Applegate and Ed Helms, Hemsworth plays a man with a HUGE penis that makes the other men in the film feel inadequate.

    1. While he did get written up for exposing himself to Amy Poehler on the set of P&R (as part of a scene improvisation that ended up being kept in with a blur), I haven't heard about anything recently. He has discussed it on talk shows, so maybe it's an old clip that is still floating around.

    Ryan Gosling

  34. Bummed somebody already cracked my Dylan McDermott Mulroney gag, Which one is in that new comedy about the pilot? I like that one. Not sure I can picture the other one in my mind.

I like the Chris Helmsworth guess, too, because I often confuse him with his brother. I saw the "Vacation" movie, it was terrible and I wouldn't call it a romantic comedy either. It was vulgar trash.

There was something up with Bill Paxton, wasn't there? I always loved him as an actor, so winning on screen, but he was in "True Lies," where we know some underaged abuse was being inflicted upon Eliza Dushku, and you've got Arnold and Cameron too, so say no more.

I never confused Bill Paxton with Bill Pullman though. I always confuse Bill Pullman with Jeff Daniels.

  37. Chris Pratt received a strongly worded letter from NBC after flashing Amy Poehler. He made it into a joke, but neither Amy nor the studio thought it was funny. I don’t watch rom com, so I have no idea if he has done a memorable one. Also, it seems Amy would be described as more than “the woman.” But technically a piece of paper settled this one.

  38. When I was doing my psych residency, I interviewed an older woman with narcissistic personality disorder. As a child she never felt like she received the attention she deserved from her family (lower-class, many children) but was happily surprised when she was hospitalized for a tonsillectomy. Back then you were there for nearly a week, and being constantly cared for and waited-on led to a long-standing preoccupation - and misplaced affection - for doctors and medical staff. It led to a myriad of unnecessary medical treatments for herself, her children, and even her pets. Eventually, she created an online persona wherein she identified herself as a “medical professional” and would give armchair diagnoses to people asking about their symptoms, sometimes going so far as to posing as another person to ask questions that she could in turn answer, and then offering herself much praise for the “assistance”. It was sad that she was willing to go to such great lengths for adoration from a group of strangers, but it gave her a sense of entitlement she wasn’t able to garner in real life.
