I'm not sure why they would lie about this, but this on the rebound former A list comic says she doesn't talk to this one named legend any longer. Not true. They are still best friends and talk all the time.
Aging media tycoon Sumner Redstone has been communicating with an iPad that’s preloaded with audio clips of his voice saying “Yes,” “No” and “F–k you,” according to a report.
The 94-year-old billionaire — who has voting control over CBS and Viacom as the two companies engage in tense talks to merge — nevertheless won’t have final say over any deal, according to the Wall Street Journal (paywall).
That’s because Redstone — whose health has deteriorated so badly that “he cannot speak much beyond grunts,” only has a single vote on the board of National Amusements, the holding company that controls most of the voting stakes in CBS and Viacom, the paper reported.
Last week, a judge unsealed a complaint by Redstone’s former girlfriend Manuela Herzer, who alleged that Redstone’s daughter Shari Redstone and her son Tyler Korff had “used Sumner as an incapacitated puppet to literally manipulate every aspect of CBS and Viacom.”
Rob Klieger, attorney for both Mr. and Ms. Redstone, called Herzer’s claims “fanciful.”
Griffin has major issues. Cries like a baby because people went after her yet that’s what her whole routine is...going after people. She can dish it but can’t take it!
Good God help us if Kathy is A list. And I agree she isn't a comic. There is no 'routine' or beats to her comedy, no real laughs. It is a bunch of snarky off the cuff observations and trash talking stream of consciousness. I can see her being a 'host' with edge at times but I hate her stand up. So many great comedians hone their craft with delivery, content, emphasis. LOVE Margaret Cho etc. and to think what 'she does' is put in the same category as those who actually have a CRAFT is beyond me.

George Carlin was a one of a kind comic genius. A rare gem that surfaces from time to time. You can't expect rare gems to be the norm.
That said I like Kathy Griffin - she sucked as host of Fashion Police but we all know no one could replace Joan and lots of people did not like Joan. I did. And I certainly given everything that has happened in the world in the last 15 months and the things that come out of a certain pair of trout lips every f-ing day, Griffin did not deserve the pile on. What she said didn't damage economies and people's lives. Ask all those farmers trout lips has screwed this week.
Cher has a big musical hitting Broadway soon..."The Cher Show". Kathy is savvy enough to know bringing Cher into any interviews may detract from that project.
I saw Kathy Griffin live twice, probably around 8-10 years ago and she was hilarious both times. It was after she had lost weight and looked good and before she dieted to her current gaunt status. If she had just STFU after the Trump head stunt, everything would have died down but she chose to play the victim and that obviously played out poorly.

DeleteShe’s an incredibly hard worker and workaholic. Being without work lined up is a nightmare for someone like that.
