Blind Item #2

This former actress turned upcoming bride arranged to have one of her exes paid $250K if he would remain silent about their past. It looks like it worked.

  1. Yeah, this one is a no brainer. Although I'd argue she's still an actress--she's simply playing a different role.

  3. SImon Rex as the ex? I wanted to rhyme.

  4. Bet he could've gotten a lot more than $250K.

  6. Did she run out of money or something that she couldn't pay her family to do the same? lol They will never, ever stop talking to the press about her. This is going to follow her around forever.

    1. Her “family” doesn’t know anything about her. She hasn’t spoken to any of them but her dad in the last 20 years. The only people who know things about her are her exes and close friends... they’ve not said a peep.

    2. MM grossly miscalculated her family’s tenacity in grabbing for every single $ from their 15 mins of fame by association. Did she skip that day of social climbing class??

  7. I wonder if everyone is getting their money back? Evidently, that could be quite a large bill.

  8. Is this the guy who the National Enquirer found who is supposedly her first husband (Trevor Engelson being the second) and the marriage was annulled?

  9. @DDonna Tarttty, it is a cost risk you take when asking for too much. There is some dollar amount where it gets to be too tempting to just have you killed rather than trying to buy your silence.

  10. Meghan Markle’s TV producer ex-husband is pulling the plug on plans to create a show loosely based on her life — at least for now, according to a report.

Trevor Engelson and the royal bride-to-be wed in a beachside ceremony in Jamaica in 2011 and divorced two years later. It was widely reported in December that Engelson, 41, was working on a Fox show about a man whose wife leaves him for a British prince and them trying to navigate custody of their kids post-divorce.

The show would have added fiction to real-life events as Markle, 36, and Engelson never had kids and the future royal actually only hooked up with Prince Harry in 2016, three years after her divorce.

But an insider told the Sun on Tuesday that Markle’s pals talked to Engelson at her behest and convinced him to suspend working on the show, for a little while at least.

“Trevor’s project is currently on hold after several months of anguish for Meghan,” a senior TV executive, who asked not to be named, told the outlet. “The plan was for the series to come out during the aftermath of the royal wedding later this summer, but things have changed.”

Markle reportedly reached out to her ex to thank him for pausing the project.

“She did reach out to him — with Harry’s agreement — to thank him for not telling their story in public,” the source said.

Executives were also worried the show could flop if it came out so soon after the nuptials, because of how popular the soon-to-be newlyweds are.

“There is a feeling too that it is too soon for a TV network to go straight at the new royals given their popularity and it could flop,” the source said.

Engelson currently is producing “Snowfall,” a series that explores the early days of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles during the 1980s. He’s also executive producing the upcoming “Heathers” remake for television.

The Post reached out to Fox for comment and the Sun said they’d reached out to Kensington Palace.

There’s been nothing to back up the assumption Mr Engelson is ‘crazy’ conversely enough has been provided by multiple sources to explain why she’d want to silence him. Me thinks there’s still much to float to the surface. Cant bury everything or everyone. At some point the Firm will outrule PH and say enough and force his/ her hand. Trust. These people DONT PLAY.

  13. Unfortunately she can't pay off everyone that wants to talk. Something tells me Meghan stepped on a lot of people to get to the top and she's not very well liked. Got to hand it to the girl though, from Deal or No Deal Girl, To Yachting and now a Princess! To all the yacht girls - keep dreaming big, it can happen to you!!

  14. Yup, she did the full grace kelly, respect.

  15. Oh to have a piece of that sweet, sweet NDA pie. Not only did MM hit the jackpot, a lot of other people hit it as well just by association.

  16. You know somebody was fun when they spend more money paying off their exes than most people spend on the wedding itself.

  17. Could have been Husband #2 Trevor, could have been reputed Husband #1 Joe Guiliano, could have been the guy she was living with when she met Harry, Cory Vitiello. Could be an unannounced candidate.

  19. What I think is an interesting discussion is what happens to the Dad now.

He lives in Mexico, where kidnapping is a major threat for both Mexican citizens and foreigners. If you were a kidnapping gang, wouldn't you target Mr Markle in the hopes of a big Royal payoff?

I've read that he lives in a gated community, but he has to come out of there sooner or later. He likes KFC. Park your kidnapping gang outside and wait.

  20. I don't know, they're more likely to send James Bond or special forces than a briefcase full of money, some people you just don't f*ck with.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Really? I don't think the Mexican government would appreciate an SAS squad in their sovereign territory.

If they were smart they'd just move him someplace safer. Costa Rica has a lower violent crime rate if he'd prefer to stay in Latin America.

  22. Wherever the father and these "ex's"/former Johns go, I have no doubt that "accidents" will follow. Better to just spill the beans now, I mean the only better time would be juuuuust after they are wed.

  23. They canned the show because of her's and Harry's "popularity"? Most people either don't care or HATE her.

  24. And this is why M15 wouldn't find out this kind of stuff. $$$$

  25. So where besides the dark webz are the topless pics? Asking for a friend

  26. Kathy Hilton should pay Kyle to shut up then. Or bring 2 TV the story of a philandering Hollywood R.E. agent with a penchant for lady boys. See if Kyle green lights that pilot!

  27. I'll stay silent about our past for half of that , Megan.

That's the best deal you'll get this week.

What where we talking about again?

... never mind, I think imma just go cut my toe nails. Their getting pretty gangly

  29. You people all have your undies in a bundle over Ms. Markle.
Do you know anything at all about Nancy Reagan???
She was the Ho of all Hos.
Yep, just read a little bit.
People in Hollywood must have been gagging every time they saw or heard her.
    Complete Trash.

  30. Trevor’s tv idea actually sounds like it would be a cute sitcom. I would actually watch it, and it has a chance to be a wholesome family show that could probably survive on Freeform or the CW.

  31. NDA is the acronym of 2018.

  32. Of course nobody likes Meghan Markle. She's not hot enough to as arrogant and not talented enough to stand on her work. The only people who are into her are women who have low self esteem and want to see the mousy brown haired nobody become a princess.

"MM grossly miscalculated her family’s tenacity in grabbing for every single $ from their 15 mins of fame by association. Did she skip that day of social climbing class??"

I think MM will have the last laugh on her 'family' this Saturday. (I hope)
Seems many flew into London this week with 'exclusive' media deals. Only this time, they won't be given any actual airtime. I think they could be silenced-by-contract and, because of the 'deal', unable to broadcast their nonsense anywhere else.
    (crossing fingers this is true!)

  34. @Sher - Seems that has already happened. I just saw on Blind Gossip that the TV programme 'Good Morning Britain' has been 'threatened' by the palace - the TV company had hired some Markle relatives to comment live on the wedding day.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Sher, she's not a victim of her family. Good for her to escape it but she doesn't seem much different than them

  36. They are two adults living their lives.

No one, other than them, should care this much, ffs.

Some organizations love to fool the public. that's really all you need to know about the whole Markle media storm.

  38. Not buying it, why pay when all you have to do is send a well spoken gentleman around to remind him that accidents do happen.
