Blind Items Revealed #4

April 30, 2018

He has kids with nannies and other household help, but heaven help you if you are one of his kids and gay. He will disown you in a second. You can do the most outrageous things to anyone as long as it is heterosexual sex, but if you are this foreign born permanent A list action star, you are done in his mind if you are gay.

Jackie Chan

  1. I'll never see another one of his movies. Oh wait I can't remember the last one he was in.

  2. So all the Arnie guesses were wrong. No parent has an obligation to support their adult children. Call Jackie a piece of shit for not being there when she was a child and acting like a father to her. Don't condemn him for refusing to support her now she's an adult and causing him to suffer public humiliation in a culture that's far more traditional than ours.

100 agree. It’s a embarresment in his culture. He can choose to do as he pleases as does she. Tisk people, tisk on you! They still stone people in some cultures for that shit. Just bc we have unfortunately become vulgar loud mouthed liberal America doesn’t mean everyone else agrees with the falling of America conservatism.

  3. If he's never been a father to her and never been in contact with her and her mother kicked her out of the house because she was screwing a female 30 yr old teacher, why is he the homophobe and not mommy? He might not have even known and probably didn't care either. And mommy should have sued him for parental support.

  5. Don't forget he hooks up with his adult female children from his hook ups, that weren't raised with him as their dad.

  6. He's never been in her life, though. So he's not exactly disowned her because she's gay. He's a shitty dad, sure, but nothing points to him being homophobic. Just a shitty dad.

  7. Jackie Chan is a singular movie star in the history of world cinema. Arguably the biggest film star of all time.

"Supercop," "Operation Condor," "Project A," "Who Am I?" "Drunken Master," are all among the greatest action films ever made. In Hollywood, the first two "Rush Hour" films are very funny with good action, and the "Shanghai Days/Knights" flicks are entertaining period parodies with good action. "The Foreigner" was among the best thrillers of last year, an unexpected pleasure.

I spent a month at a huge remote lake house with my extended family watching Jackie Chan movies almost every night--25 of them or so. Some Hollywood but majority Asian. I don't think there was a bad one in the bunch.

There should be little doubt that Jackie Chan's private life is much different than the persona presented to the public. Would any of us expect less from a movie star of such prestige and power? It's sad, but even the greatest movie star of all time is almost surely not a very good person.

  8. Well Jackie, kiss your career goodbye. Hollywood gay mafia will ensure that!

  9. It's not just a matter of stardom and wealth effecting behavior.

Chan was born to poor parents who were displaced to Hong Kong by the Chinese civil war. At the age of 7, his parents put him into a boarding school for training in Peking Opera. Then they moved to Australia, leaving him behind. The school's methods were effective but sadistic, and because of his small size Chan was bullied by the other students. He spent his remaining childhood and adolescence at the school. Who knows what other sorts of trauma or abuse he was subjected to during those years. Is it any wonder his personal and family life is troubled?

  11. that's terrible. your child is still your child period. i once knew a woman who told her son she would rather he be dead than gay which he was. i just stared at her and then when i found my voice let her know that many other people who have lost children would LOVE to have her son. i was shocked and sickened by what she said. how could any parent ever think or say something like that...as a mom i can't even begin to tolerate thinking like that so i have no use for 'parents' who are not worthy of their children if that's how they feel. just my opinion.

  16. He didn't disown his daughter, because she's gay or otherwise. He's just not giving her money. She's "homeless" because she stole $35,000 from her mother, who kicked her out! You want to take her in? Go for it.

  17. "now she's an adult and causing him to suffer public humiliation in a culture that's far more traditional than ours"

Jackie makes his money from American Hollywood, then goes back to the homeland and spouts nationalist propaganda and disowns his daughter because "traditional" values? Can't have it both ways.

  18. Is he really talking about the adult daughter who refuses to get a job because she thinks her daddy should support her and if he doesn't it's because she's gay? Really? Her own mother told her to get a job and stop whining.
