Blind Item #5

This B+ list celebrity offspring of a permanent A+++ lister is kind of in a bind. She doesn't want to pay her ex any money even though she really has plenty to live on forever, but knows if she wins any money in her suit, she will probably have to pay out a bunch to her ex.

  1. Lisa Marie Presley. Dont think KC was A+++

  2. I agree with hahaha. Besides, Frances seems to have settled her divorce, while Lisa Marie is still in the middle of hers.

  3. Did Frances Bean appeal the fact that her ex got one of Kurt's iconic guitars? I saw that and about fell over. I didn't think the marriage was old enough for him to rate such an item...

If there's no appeal pending, I agree it's Lisa Marie.

    1. She and her mom stupidly gifted him the guitar. I don’t understand why they would even give it away at all.

  5. Have we ever seen A+++ before? Agree that Sinatra, Elvis, Beatles are only musicians who'd make that list (maybe MJ? usually he's A++ here though).

But....that makes them bigger than Trump, Clintons, Kennedys? Really?

  6. i thought lisa marie was flat broke. but i agree that calling cobain A+++ is a big stretch. permanent A, yes. but that's it.

  7. Lisa Marie. She's claiming to be broke.

  8. She's broke and the divorce is because she has left the Scientology. Rumors are that Leah Remini has interviewed her and will be featured on the next season of Leah's show.

    1. She's broke BECAUSE of $cientology. It costs millions to stay with it as many years as she was.

  9. Kurt Cobain is definitely A+++ and this blind is almost certainly about his daughter. I don't like her ex, but she shouldn't have gifted his guitar if she wanted to keep it. Once you gift something to someone else, you lose any ownership rights. I don't believe for one second that her Mother didn't warn her.

    1. If Cobain is A+++, then is Elton John A+++++++++++ and Lindsey Lohan A++ on your scale. Just because you obsess about someone, doesn't make them a legend.... Cobain is permanent A- because he's dead, he'd be the same as a Brett Michaels if still alive... former A, now a fading B-

  10. It's definitely Lisa Marie. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/06/20/elvis-presleys-100m-fortune-gone-daughter-lisa-marie-claims-in-lawsuit.html

  11. If Cobain is A+++, we've shifted the whole rating system up to where one-season reality TV stars are A, and Elvis is A++++++++++. Maybe we'll start writing that as A10, where '10' is the number of plusses. Then those of us who have never even met a celebrity or been on TV can rate ourselves between B and C, which is nice.

  12. Lisa Marie. She is suing her manager and in the middle of a nasty divorce.

Frances already gave up the guitar and signed the divorce agreement. Her stinking pile of shit ex is now claiming that she and Court tried to kill him which is a separate filing. Given that his public representation is Sam Mufti, the ex is bound to lose.

  13. Cobain is no way A+++. When you are A+++ everyone knows who you are. There are people who aren't sure who he is.

You'll never hear "Who is Elvis?"

  14. Can we compile the F------- list?

    That would be of interest.

  15. Definitely Lisa Marie Presley. Suing her money mgr(s)

  16. FLOLOL, Kurt Cobain A+++ list?!? Nagger, please! Even the top, most famous global icons are (or in this case, should be) "only" A++. Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, Elvis, Presidents, popes etc.

This is the first A+++ I can recall, and is most likely referring to Elvis, but really the only ones at THAT level should be all time, universally known = Jesus and MAYBE Mohammed and Buddha. And Optimus Prime, who died for all our sins.

  17. The legendary ratings fluctuate depending on which entern is posting. However we can usually depend on Lilo being the former actress turned escort, Iggy being a one hit wonder, Cara a foreign born model/bad actress, Kendra as a naked celebrity and Britney being referred to as a “singer” to name just a few!

  18. +1 Hahaha, Lisa Marie

  19. Cobain MIGHT be permanent A+++ to those between the ages of 35 and 45. But absolutely nobody else thinks so.

  20. @Cee Kay

Reddit considered Cobain a big deal and mostly the people posting there are under 30.

  21. Cobain had a huge effect on rock overall and Nevermind killed almost every form of music prevalent in the 80s. Hair bands - gone. Alternative Rock and it's tinny sound - gone. Metal - gone. Pop product - gone.

Admitted, the 80s were a decade of weak product (not unlike today) ready to have stronger forces demolish it, but Nirvana was there to do it (along with NWA, I'd say.)

Anyone else remember the first time you heard Teen Spirit? Jolt of lightning, I couldn't even figure out if it was good or bad it sounded so completely different from the Cure, REM, Bon Jovi, Slayer, Talking Heads...

  22. Alt rock isn't gone, metal isn't gone, pop isn't gone - they just evolved. Hell, grunge rock was just an evolution of alt and hard rock.

Kurt Cobain isn't permanent A+++ to ANYONE, 35-45 or otherwise. Fucking joke.

  23. Okay, you might not agree. You might interpret things differently, ltttt. Cobain WAS the evolution of alt and hard rock, as far as I'm concerned, which caused Grunge and a new level of rock artists to flood the market.

The only thing I'll take issue with is your claim Cobain was less than A+ whatever. He was huge and the kids still find him hugely compelling, more so than the other grunge superstars like Eddie Vedder or Layne Staley. Partly, that might be because the Foo Fighters remain very popular for them and the obvious connection there.
