Speaking of Lost, I think the most punchable thing I've ever seen might be Cuse and Lindelof on the screen at the same time being interviewed. And I never even saw the show.

mystery box plots as one's main (probably only) screenwriting philosophy are a sign of a hack writer. Many pulp authors used it back when they were paid on a by the word basis
I don’t get the whole Evangeline lily comment. This was network tv and i have seen every episode of Lost and she was not naked. Not sure what her issue is.

Villains here are Lindelof & Cuse, who ran with the show for a bit but imploded in the later years and blew a flaccid finale quite badly. Cuse I will always like for "Brisco County, Jr.," but Lindelof's career is one gargantuan steaming pile of entertainment excrement at it's most stench-inducing diarrheic.

PS, even though I don't like his movies (JJ), he is responding to this like one of the good guys. Good for him. I don't see how anyone would need to fight for him, let alone with 10 million $. It was just something Evangeline revealed on a podcast in casual conversation. She isn't trying to get him fired, and neither is anyone else that I know of.
All you need to judge the writing skills of Lindelof is The Leftovers. What a complete waste of time that show is, and the actors try so hard to make something good out of it. It's worse than any kind of trashy TV in that it Lindelof informs us, from the first frame, that this is Art!, the most important Art! We will have to pay close attention and watch it multiple times or we won't understand this Art!
Fuck him, all LIndelof writes is junk, piled on metaphors of no meaning, empty plot twists and superfluous characters to fill the Lindelof void. So post modern, dude!

Lost is still a sore spot for me. That finale - ugh. Then I watched The Leftovers. First 2 seasons - phenomenal. 3rd season - total shite.I will NEVER watch another Lindelof show.
