I love that this former tweener singer turned A- list adult singer went old school with her excuse. Doesn't change the fact she needs rehab again, but I was getting tired of the never ending stream of illnesses celebrities are springing on us. Publicists were scouring through Wikipedia and saying, "You get a disease and you get a disease. Everyone gets a disease."

ReplyDeleteHer vocal meat flaps were damaged from all the drugs. She was really stupid to get six years of sobriety and then mess it up because she was mad at various friends, such as Nick and Joe Jonas, her manager and her former Disney friend - I don't know her name.
ReplyDeleteWell at least even her fans now will know every time she cancels or is late, "it's the drugs."
ReplyDeleteI'm still pulling for Demi though. Now that Ariana has gone all Heart of Darkness on us, Demi is the only former tweener singer we can root for.

ReplyDeleteWhy did you bother to reveal? She overdosed in July; she's apparently got serious long term damage
ReplyDeleteShe is never coming back. When she came out of the coma, she was not the same and never will be.

ReplyDeleteYeah, frightening. We hear 'rehab' and think AA meetings,etc. But - sounds like she's in physical, cardiac, vocational, speech therapy rehab.
ReplyDeleteSpeech and cardiac too??? Where does it say that?? I did hear about the physical therapy. Still hope she makes a comeback some of her music is good

ReplyDeleteGentleBreeze, I never called any of my physical therapy rehab even though it's perfectly acceptable. Because it has such bad connotations. If I say rehab people will think drugs. It's practically synonymous with substance abuse now. :/
