This back in the day A- list singer probably would have made it to A+ list but she chose to get into a huge feud with this A+ list celebrity couple who made it their mission to make sure the singer had her singing career stall where it was. Our singer can't even get a club to sell out any longer. She should probably stick to her ghost writing career which is pretty solid.

ReplyDeleteThis is Keri Hilson. She got her start as a songwriter for Usher. She has long claimed that Beyoncé sabotaged her singing career, and she did lose traction. I’m surprised she’s still making news.

ReplyDeleteKeri Hilson was part of a songwriting collective called The Clutch. She did a remix of her song Turning Me On, called Turning Me Off, and included the line, "She needs to go have some babies", attributed to Beyonce. Moreso, she made a reference that folks should check the credits of songs she wrote for other singers, including Beyonce. The BeyHive went crazy and trashed her online, and continues to do so occasionally to this day.
