Blind Item #5

Don't believe the hype this A list politician is trying to spread. Everyone knows he prefers men but that doesn't play on the stage he wants the next couple of years.

  6. So what if he is? Booker's an amazing human being. Being heterosexual matters not one bit if you are a moron and a liar and a thief and a president.

  8. Lindsey Graham 100%... A Democrat would probably get mileage out of being gay... a Republican not so much. And Lindsey has really changed his spots over the last several months, getting fired up and angry like never before. When his emails were hacked, Russia got the goods on him.

  9. Is this the point where all the TDS sufferers just throw out republican names that don't even fit the blind? Lindsey may be gay, or not, but there is no secret relationship cover story being floated.
Booker is the one in the news with his "secret relationship".
Only "secret" relationship I know of outside of gay Hollywood, where they make sure to walk the red carpet together as a couple at high profile events, to be sure to be seen "dating" and release stories to the press about their secret passionate relationship.

  10. Oh this is definitely Miss Graham. Worst-kept secret in the entire state of South Carolina.

  14. I laughed at that Page Six article about how Cory Booker was "trying to keep it a secret" that he was dating an attractive, polished, age-appropriate businesswoman who is "black but not too black" as some craven media type is no doubt saying right at this moment.

It's like she was selected by algorithm to be a political wife-type.

Wonder if her social media was wiped before this oh-so-unexpected announcement.

  18. @MD Anderson, that's a good question.

I remember Herb Kohl, who was the senator for Wisconsin for many years, was a lifelong bachelor and had a male "aide" who lived with him.

People pretty much guessed what was going on, but nobody bothered him because at least he didn't procure himself a fake family to put on the Christmas cards. Maybe the same is true for Graham.

A lot of Southern families have a 'gay uncle'. Didn't Chris Rock (who is not Southern) do a routine about it a few years ago?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Completely agree. I think if you don’t do the fake family thing no one bothers you. There have been a lot of life long singletons on the Supreme Court too.

  21. Republicans are building shrines to Lindsey this week. They love their gays just as they are, as long as they're fighting for America. Only Democrats make their gays stay in the closet. It's sad, really.

I'm aware of his Big Pharma ties (because he wants to keep their facilities in New Jersey.) Where has Booker shown an interest in protecting Wall Street? I'm not doubting you, would love the whole story there.

When he was a growing star in the Republican Party, they put him in a fake marriage with a huge fundraiser for the Republican Party to set him up to run for POTUS. Then he fucked the party over and left it. His longtime aide wrote a book and outed him. When his political career was shattered to pieces this woman he married divorced him and went back to Ft. "Trust if he is not approved,we will be hearing some fun stories about several presidential hopefuls, both parties!"

Not before the midterms we won't. The RNC is quietly pulling funds from previously safe races, leaving their boys hanging this election cycle. Based on rumors of scattered scandal? Or lack of funds? Or the need for a war chest for legal issues? Or what? It's a quandary. If the RNC had damaging information about anyone in any race, this is not how they would behave.

  38. I want to know what Trump has on Lindsey Graham that turned him from hating Trump to being his biggest fan and does it have anything to do with the hack on his computer by the Russians.

America isn't ready for a openly gay President so anyone with that ambition will have to stay closeted. It's sad people still care about someone else's sexuality in this day and age.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The prejudice against gay politicians started after WW2 and the HUAC hearings certainly pushed it further. Before that, we had a couple of gay presidents (I figure)and many dozens of gay reps in Congress. As long as they kept their private life private, newspapers didn't care and the voters were more scandalized by the suggestions from the source than the politician who lived as a bachelor with his top aid.

    @Jimbonius

ALL politicians are to some extent phony. Why not have the phonies working for us for a damn change?

BTW, I don't like senators running for president, myself, because of the ugly compromises they have to make, as is natural in the Senate. Booker falls to Big Pharma. He does so in the interests of New Jersey. How is that going to translate to being a president who resets our drug pricing escalations? It won't very easily, will it.

Deep down, I believe Hillary should have stayed in the Senate till her complete retirement from politics. She belonged there. She could have ended up the most powerful Senator in the country if she had stayed.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Cory Booker has turned into a joke. He had promise, but he's lost it. He's a clown, a fraud, a charade, an actor, a bad Democrat of the old school dying machine. He's already peaked, it's a long slow decline for him to obscurity if not humiliation.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "Everyone who smoke weed is sewage?"

Wow, what a serious basket case.
No, but Spartacus who smokes weed and hooks up with students is sewage.
Yes Graham is gay, but unlike leftist psychos conservatives do not practice identity politics. The death of blackmailer McCain freed Graham from his chains.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Mr. Garrett, I mean Lindsey Graham.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It's not Lindsey Graham because Graham is not running for reelection, he's retiring. That's why he had the stones to talk so openly during the hearing; he had nothing to lose. Same reason Flake threw his colleagues under the bus; he's not up for reelection either. Both are trying to influence private sector employers for better jobs after their terms in office are up.

    Therefore, it's Booker.

"Spartacus who smokes weed and hooks up with students is sewage."

A little proof of this would be nice, just saying.

"The death of blackmailer McCain freed Graham from his chains."

Nope. Emails hacked by Russians and an emergency meeting with Trump on one of his golf courses changed Lindsey's tune. Linds practically admitted as much, 'member?

"That's why he had the stones to talk so openly during the hearing; he had nothing to lose."

Okay so which time did Mr. Graham have "stones" (how fucking quaint, Linds would appreciate that)?

When he interrupted the Democrats who were catching Kavanaugh in perjury? When Linds thrashed around, frothed, got hysterical and screamed for press attention?

That time or the times he nailed Trump, absolutely called him a horrible person...until the golf course meeting?

    Which?

Great question. Booker won't do very well. Biden is toxic since the Weinstein story broke. Some Dems will support Kamala for reasons of diversity. Some seem to be moving toward insisting that their nominees be women of color from now on. But Kamala won't do very well in the campaign, either. Nor will Elizabeth Warren. I think John Kerry might be able to beat Trump. But that might require an engineered financial crisis, as I think probably happened in 2008.
