This A list show runner is lying when he says he doesn't remember saying a ton of inappropriate remarks. OK, maybe the former cable king doesn't remember, but every other person involved or within ear shot remembers.
Matthew Weiner is a monster, I've heard. Fundamentally dishonest and completely self-serving. Remember what he did to poor January Jones when she rejected him!
I think this one is Weiner. I read an article yesterday where he was again saying he didn't say horrible things to one of his former staff writers. Also, he had a show just released (Romanoffs) and it's getting slammed by reviewers.

I immediately thought Matthew Weiner but I don't think one hit show can make you a "king". He worked on Sopranos too but was never showrunner.
