This past week he ended up with a guy who the day before had been with this permanent A list celebrity all of you know and is currently single and if reports are correct, also HIV+.

ReplyDeleteSo now there are three HIV statuses:
HIV positive
HIV negative (hi friends!)
HIV positive, Undetectable
The CDC confirmed in 2018 there is 0% chance of contacting HIV from someone whose viral load is Undetectable. Truvada is one medication that both prevents contacting and prevents spreading the HIV virus.
Any new law in CA regarding disclosure of HIV status is likely related to the above information.

which I never knew, I thought AIDS was a one-way street with no recovery.
That's no longer the case if HIV positive Undetectable can be considered "recovery."
