Blind Item #9

I know we like to think of the early rise of the journalist turned writer/director as unique, but it wasn't. Who am I talking about? The famed publisher, of course. He had a longstanding practice of hiring high school-aged teens of one sex rather than the other. He liked to invite them back to his lavish apartment where they'd be given booze and drugs, then required to partake of a certain game. You can imagine what happened next.

  5. It's Macolm Forbes. The guy was legendary in this regard.

  7. Cameron Crowe was married to the legendary and beautiful Nancy Wilson. Are you saying he's gay or bi? Was this a lavender marriage? Is Nancy a lez? My head is spinning.

  8. This blind is very obviously about Cameron Crowe and Jann Wenner. Wenner is notoriously gay, and Crowe started out as a journalist at Rolling Stone when he was 16.

I guess that somebody is jealous of Crowe (and hasn't seen the long string of flops he's had for a decade) and attributes all of his career to a night on the casting couch. Yet, all of Jann Wenner's supposed high school-aged male lovers didn't get that much of a career, did they?

  9. @Jon.

Nancy Wilson is in her mid sixties and still hotter than an August in Death Valley.

  11. So what's the "certain game"? Spin the bottle? Naked Twister?

  12. It isn’t Forbes. He was legendarily debauched but wasn’t into teenagers. That reputation belongs to Jann Wenner and his staff at RS.
