Today's Blind Items - Cause Vs Effect

This singer is permanently A list. Long before she was a singer though, she was an actress. An actress who was young. She started off as a tween. She doesn't like to talk about those years. The only thing she will ever say is she acted and what shows she was on. Ask her what happened behind the scenes though and she won't say a word. I would argue that many of her choices to remain private and distant about her personal life stems from the time on those sets. Two in particular stand out because they shared an executive producer. This is a producer I have written about before who repeatedly sexually assaulted a star of one of the shows. He got her hooked on drugs so she would let him do things to her or have other people join in. She was a zombie. What I haven't written about before is the long term molesting of the permanent A list singer which went on for almost five years. What had been this bubbly lively personality became so shy and withdrawn that it always took multiple takes for her scenes because she was so quiet and so fearful for what would happen after the scenes were shot. Because she had such a controlling monster as a parent, I wonder if she just accepted this controlling monster as her boss.

  4. is it just the long term indoctrination? the shame? At this point Janet is far bigger and more iconic than any boss she worked for? Her father being a monster set her up for this? I don't know why these types at SOME POINT don't have some huge epiphany and paradigm shift in life and BLOW THE LID RIGHT OFF IT ALL. Even the women Weinstein coerced, why not take back power and admit and talk about HOW F-ed up the system is... the one you fell prey to and felt powerless against? There has to be that moment in life... with Janet watching her niece fighting demons now, knowing what Michael became and went through, that just makes you say HMMMMM and DO something at long last. Maybe she will in her life before she dies. BE BRAVE, Janet. What happened was NOT your fault or doing. You were a victim and became huge iN SPITE of all his but speak out, prevent the cycle of abuse from being the status quo in Hollywood.

  5. Janet was also on Different Strokes and both Dana Plato and Todd Bridges were allegedly abused as children perhaps EP Howard Leeds or Jerry Mayer?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Fergie? She was on Kids Incorporated, could have gotten her started on meth.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Who was the star he got hooked on drugs?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Dana Plato for the star?

  9. Will Dan Schneider ever pay for the evil he's done to young girls?

  10. No one is ever go the blow the lid off of anything. This shit will continue to go on because there are horrible parents who will allow it, horrible people in power who want to do it, and innocent kids as the fodder.

Sucks to type it, but that's the world.

  11. Sadly, Jimbonius is right

  12. I had thought Fergie, too, but I dont think shes perm A

Tricia- super call on Janet Jackson-- the parent, the early shows, etc...i think Different Strokes might be the damaging show? She still was pretty outgoing on Good Times, doing the Mae West skits with her bros, etc.

  13. Who is the Executive Producer who was on both shows?

    1. Norman Lear was Exec Producer on All in the Family/Good Times which is why I thought there was a tie in there.

    2. If it’s Howard Leeds(not Lear)- than the other actress is Maureen McCormack. He also produced the Brady Bunch

  14. ". What I haven't written about before is the long term molesting of the permanent A list singer which went on for almost five years. " Except that
Janet was only on GT from 1977-79

  15. Howard Stern brow beat & shamed Dana Plato into a suicide. If same shit went down today on Facebook, he would be locked up and sued.Anuston, Kummel and Vaginefeld support a man who became a billionaire exploiting damaged people.

  16. @kiki - money talks and money is power, and sometimes money is above the law. The actresses and singers can't challenge tv, movie, and record studios if these studios are powerful and wealthy enough to bury you in court. Cops, judges, and prosecutors can be corrupted. I've read multiple times on this site that the LAPD is bought by Hollywood. On top of that, if the person who is abusing you controls your livelihood and has the power to make sure you never make money on your talent again, would you come forward?

  17. but Janet Jackson didn't start as a tween, I remember her on--something--performing, acting when she was like 6 or 7 .

  18. Bingo @COUNT. YOU GOT IT BROTHER!

    1. Norman Lear is the connection between all of them

  20. Could this possibly be Ariana Grande? Dan Schneider was Executive Producer on both Victorious and Sam and Kat I believe.

    1. If it is Ariana, she was probably asking for it. Totally seems the type where once she heard about boners would climb on random laps and squirm around to see if she could make them happen.

    2. @Count. That totally reminds me of my toddler years. Good times.

  22. These types of blinds make me so damn uncomfortable. If it's not true, then we are victimizing a random person and smearing an innocent one. If they are, then this isn't enty's secret to reveal. Molestation isn't some fun guessing game for strangers.

  23. There is an new Alanis Morrisette interview making the rounds today.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Alanis was who i thought of as i was starting to read the blind, but no clue what shows she was pm besides the one w/ the slime.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Janet Jackson was NOT a tween when she started acting. She was like 6 years old. Alanis is a really good guess though.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Janet was 11 when she started acting. That's like the literal definition of tween.

      Delete
  26. Alanis is foreign born and didn't work on many shows

    ReplyDelete
  27. My first thought was Alanis as well. I recall a past blind about a show that sounds like the one she was on. She never talks about her being a child star. She had a breakdown between the time she left the show and becoming a huge star.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Acerbia Fergie is not permanent A, she's a B- on a good day

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Jon,you are right.Alanis was only on one season as far as I can tell. Janet was on Good Times,Different Strokes, and Fame.Janet needs to put this out there. Only her and Todd Bridges are still alive from Different Strokes,no one left unscathed. Same goes for Ariana. They need to use their power but it's harder than it seems. So + again @Tricia13.

  30. There are two monster references and a Zombie reference in the blind. I think its Janet and this is hinting at it being her in regards to Michaels Thriller video.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I got Brie Larson for the first two sentences, but Janet fits better.

    ReplyDelete
  32. alanis morissette!! Hasnt talked much about it but wrote a hit song about it HANDS CLEAN!

  33. It's great to know that most of our pop culture was created by pedos, rapists, murderers, beaters, cheaters, thieves, bad parents, and all the human wreckage they left in their wake. Are they intruding in our world or are we living in their world?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous2:11 PM

I can't stand Alanis but if this is her then I will soften a bit. I don't see it being Janet Jackson, I'm pretty sure I've seen her talk about her early work as an actress.

Brayson87 You said it. Unfortunately we are living in the world they created. Makes me want to move to a cabin in Appalachia and go off the grid. I hate them so much.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You do know that Appalachians fuck their cousins and sisters n shit, right? I guess incest is better than rape rape. But then there's the mongoloid and retard factor. Weigh your options before you move.

  35. @ Jimbonius but WHY not blow the lid off say when you older, retired, career done? Maybe not time for Janet yet but wouldn't you feel those mind rushes then? I know I would - no work to be had, nothing to lose. F*ck the establishment that F8cked you.

  37. Janet was a tween Different Strokes I don't think this blind is her. I thought Miley and Hannah Montana

    ReplyDelete

    1. Miley was my first thought. Question - I just recently started getting pop up ads when I read each blind. Is it just me?

  38. Dana Plato was hooked on drugs & died of an overdose in '99.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I am getting strong Britney vibes from this, Disney, Demi...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ariana is too young for permanent A list and so is Miley

    ReplyDelete
  41. If we go back to Janet...has anyone told horror stories about Norman Lear? With as many shows as he did, you'd think whispers would follow the endless praise. Did he have a known partner?

The person that mentioned Janet starting younger...she appeared on Sonny&Cher and other specials as sassy, comic fodder in her brother's act, but I dont think true acting gigs started until Penny on Good Times, when she really was a tween

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well, that explains the whole Jimmy Debarge thing.

    ReplyDelete
  43. But Janet was in Poetic Justice??
