Blind Item #8

If anyone believes the former one season wonder/radio guy living off his reality fame coughed up the cash on his own for that ring, then you really need to do a little more digging.

  2. Honestly, who cares. She has more money and obviously it mattered more to her that she have a big diamond even if he could not afford it rather than something he picked out and could afford ..so she took care of it. Not something I would ever do...but, it is her money.

I have friends pick out their exact rings or suggested the cut. And, others who were surprised.

  3. How emasculating

But if you're a golddigging gigolo, I guess that doesn't matter

  4. @E Chill. She makes way more money than he does and she got the ring she wanted. I don't know if he's a golddigger, but that's not the vibe I get from them and as long as they're happy it literally couldn't matter less who makes more.

  5. Again, just like with Paris, what is a low(er) rent guy to do when he wants to ask a chick to marry him? Let her buy the ring she wants IF you can't afford it.

  6. Wells isn't an one season person in that franchise. This blind either has poor research behind it and/or is click bait. Wells has been featured on multiple seasons on Bachelors in Paradise as their bartender.

  8. Funny how it’s only a problem when the man doesn’t make money. If a woman marries a rich man, that’s awesome, but if a man marries a rich woman, it’s awful. Seems kinda sexist, eh?

  9. Astra, you’re absolutely right,

  10. Astra I know it sounds sexist on paper but, the relationships I've observed in which a man earns way less than the woman earns, he's turned out to be a user creep and it ends in tears.

Or he dumps her once he's on the upswing, because his ego wants fresh eyes, who worship him and he feels like the errand boy in the old financially lopsided relationship.

Can't divorce societal influence and expectations from anything. Males are indoctrinated to be the hero breadwinner since they're pre verbal.

  11. To be fair, @Astra, poor women who marry rich men are usually called "gold diggers." So, as we say in the UK, it's swings and roundabouts really.

  12. She should have whatever damn ring makes her happy - they are worthless anyway so if she wants to pay for it and it makes her happy - who cares?
