Pinball- specifically Satin Doll. I own it. Satin Doll and I spent many happy hours together during my college years so I bought one. One of my most treasured possessions.

  5. I actually went to Dave & Busters a couple of weekends ago just to blow off some steam because it had been a really rough week and a movie wasn't going to cut it. Aside from it being a gigantic germfest with thousands of disgusting surfaces, I played a lot of Skeeball. The virtual reality driving/zombie hunting games are great too.

Back in the day though, Ms. Pacman was my jam.

  9. What a fun question! My husband and I have actually had this conversation. It’s Space Invaders for both, and Ms. Pac-Man for me, and Karate Champ for him. As a side note, does anyone else recall the distinct smell of an arcade? Let’s not even think about the creepy old guy who was always the attendant.

  11. +1 @Ann

    LOVE Pinball!

A friend of mine collects old popular arcade games and pinball machines. He put them all in this warehouse and throws parties there. The next day I can barely move because of all the hours I played pinball. I regress back to childhood for a night and LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

  12. Cocktailhour-- Im with ya! I was obsessed with QBert as arcade game and on Atari! I even tried to convince my parents that I needed the arcade model as a birthday present one year, but was rightfully told I was delusional.

I loved a lot of those older games...Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man/Ms. Pac-Man. This makes me want to dump my piggy bank and look for quarters. Life really changed once that hunt was bc of laundry.

  13. Galaga. Love being able to release the captured ship and have double firepower.

  14. Q*Bert and Joust. Honorable mention: Ladybug, a Pac-Man derivative that was kind of hard to find, but incorporated a few cool twists including the ability to win free games (not that I ever came close).

  19. Gosh, Sandy didn't think you were that old. Yeah I played Pong in some club in the mid '70's.
Also stressed over pacman/ms.pacman later that decade. Now I play NO video or computer games. Real life gives me enough brain games.

    Tempest

Thank you, us Tempest fans seem to get rarer and rarer.

Two more games that I loved were Berzerk, and Wizard of Wor.
