Umm, you would think after all these years that this former A+ list tweener actress turned A-/B+ list adult singer would know the rules. You sign the dotted line and agree to perform on the award show and you get nominated. If your team is good enough you make sure it is a win rather than just a nomination. That is how it has gone for the entire existence of the cable award show.

So let's put it another way she didn't think the show was worth enough for her career to perform on it and be there, because she's probably not winning. So she said no.

ReplyDeleteI knew a famous child star and he was on the cover of teen beat and tiger beat and 17 and all those mags. His family was chewed up and spit out by the machine by the time he was 20. He is dead now. Imagine the mind fuck of being famous and on Ed Sullivan and shit when you are 12.
Miley's problem is that she doesn't even know who she is as an artist.
