ReplyDeleteThe focus isn't on her because she hasn't shown that she can win anything anywhere. That, plus the payoff she got from the USTA from that purported accident after the US Open two or three years ago did nothing to enhance her popularity.

ReplyDeleteShe was a Wimbledon finalist, won the Australia open, played in the Olympics, and is one of the most marketable female athletes. Makes lots of of Insta too. If she keeps playing, even if she only makes first round, she still makes millions off of endorsements. She's young, rich, smart for her peers. The worlds her oyster.
