    1. Damn, GenZ, that's some real wisdom there.

That might've sounded sarcastic but it really wasn't.

  7. @TeeHee, I believe the Duggars are Baptists.

"The show focuses on the life of the Duggar family, who are devout Baptists,[1] and frequently discusses values of purity, modesty, and faith in God. "

    1. I don't believe they are. I was raised in a Southern Baptist home and their beliefs are nothing like that... unless they're some kind of fringe "Baptists". The only similarity I've seen is the "wives submit to your husbands" thing, but that's not just a Baptist thing...

  8. @TeeHee, But yes I've met a lot of WASPs that were actually nice people too once you got to know them, reality tv is not a good representation of anyone. 😅

  9. Do we know why they were raided?

  10. @TeeHee. Agreed. We were neither mormon or catholic, but there were 9 of us. We all turned out just fine. The number isn't the problem, it's how you are raised.

  13. It’s a federal investigation, but since this here website brought it about according to Radar Online the other day, there should be a blind about it. It’s from the 18th and my tablet doesn’t let me copy and paste so anyone else who can get it, bring it over here.

  17. Are the Duggars Baptist? For some reason I was thinking they were Pentecostal or Quivrful. Or maybe just operating their own cult using a religious philosophy comprised of facets of all three.

  20. People are people, humans are humans, and most organized religions are scams to acquire real estate. If there is a "good people" then they must be in hiding because I've never met or even heard of them.

  22. I never thought Brayson was from the UK

  23. @TeeHee@U I'm from the UK and personally have no time for religion but a lot of our religious groups do a enormous amount for charity in the UK and abroad, The church of England and The Catholic church are huge land owners but it's the organisations themselves that are rich we don't have the gross Pastor's with Mansions and private jets like the USA does.

A huge problem I have with a lot of the religious charities is it's used preach to people especially when they are
desperate and vulnerable or to discriminate against people.

    1. Religion "in the US" may not have resulted in many deaths, relatively speaking.
Wanna talk about the rest of the world?
There will NEVER be world peace as long as there is religion. And the stupidest thing is, they all believe in the same "God" ... SMH

  26. @teehee@u I completely agree. I know some folks who grew up in large Catholic families, they are some of the nicest, humblest, goodhearted people I know.

  27. @TeeHee, Yeah you seem totally tolerant of those holding different opinions. ;)

  28. +1 hunter, USA, never said or even insinuated I was from the UK.

@TeeHee, Are you sh!tting on people from the UK now? "Nihilism and disdain for Americanism," what the heck? Those are our allies, and whenever some monster appears on the world stage they're one of the few we can actually count on.

  29. I thought you were a little out of hand when you started talking about how you knew Catholics and Mormons were actually good people despite having many kids and how they were accountants, execs, artists, etc. It sounded like the ignorant sh!t people used to say about Jewish people and African Americans, like oh they're good folks.
