Blind Items Revealed #3

February 13, 2020

I think the idea for the permanent A- list singer solo and in a group is to have fewer shows to try and generate some kind of demand. Most of her residency shows have been over half comps.

Gwen is actually one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Don’t get why Enty always has to gloat.

  3. When you get offered a residency in Vegas you know your career is pretty much over.

  4. it's painful to watch a 50y/o still try to be sexy&edgy okay??? sex appeal has a very short shelflife. ...w/c is y Taylor Swipe-left still has a career because she has zero sex appeal so she can continually cater to 13yo's

    1. Lot better looking than most out of shape 20-30 yearold. Lots of sloppy.kids looking like Ellish and its not cute. Love BE but not her look.

  5. I don't think most people - Vegas tourists included - know more than a couple of hers songs, though they know her name. She will never be a big draw because of that.

  6. If the casino isn’t filling the place up with comps to their customers they aren’t doing their job right. She’s talentless in any case.

  7. I loved No Doubt - - back in the 90's. Gwen is my age and yes, looks phenomenal! But nobody I know at my age roller skates or is still addicted to Lisa Frank type rainbows and unicorns - nor do they doodle hearts and rainbows anywhere! I think the Blake and Gwen thing was publicity at first but neither has anywhere else to go. Blake keeps making the same Bro Country songs and sadly tried to force Gwen into the 'country family' - - it hasn't gone well. Both should go away for 3 years, then come back and re-assess.

  9. Entire point of a residency is that the act cant sell out shows, so they take a guarantee and the casino papers the audience, no?

  10. I loved No Doubt. They put on a hell of a show. Gwen solo was cool for an album and a half, but she's never going to be selling out big shows. Even as a former Big Fan I wouldn't pay much to see her vegas residency. I'm surprised she's not teaming up with the band to do a Tragic Kingdom 25th anniversary or something, but I also think she has completely fried her voice and doesn't want to actually have to sing anymore.

  11. Gwen Stefani can't sing to save her life. I guess she became famous based on her "look," not her singing talent. Watching an entire GS show would be my idea of torture.

  12. Did she lose her voice in the 90s? Genuine question, holla back girl was the last thing I think I’ve heard from her?

  13. She was cute and fun for a while, but she does not have the real talent to extend her career not a residency.

  14. If it is Gwen's Las Vegas residency, half the seats are usually gambling comped.

If a Gambler deposits $X, they get free meals, shows & upgraded room.

    Nothing new in Las Vegas.

  15. Gwenie---I recall Record PR execs begging me to check out No Doubt as they were getting signed. They just had that OC poser/white supremacist following @ played dive punk club Gillman Street. I thought u reminded me of early Minnie Mouse Madi6nna but with braces and the WORST pitted acne. You had the nerve to boot your opening act from backstage-at an underage dive bar covered in graffiti. Delusions of grandeur had u. Now she will never live down that her ex husband screws trannies, babysitters (whatever has a hole) and she chases after a fat, drunk cowboy. Ah---the beauty of the circle of life!
