Speaking of hosts who don't like shooting with fans or interacting with them, this long time game show host is at the top of the list. Unfortunately for him, his show requires it. Hopefully the millions he earns each year makes his suffering worthwhile.

ReplyDeleteSteve Harvey, he can barely contain his revulsion of contestants, I can't watch him at all. Harvey's attitude is jarring and uncomfortable to see.
ReplyDeletePat Sajak has OCD and a panic disorder. He doesn't want people to interact with him. Michael Keaton also has this. He really doesn't not want people to touch him. Either one would have a terrible time with taking photos with fans, shaking hands, etc.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be surprised if this is Sajak - been to tapings of both WoF and Jeopardy, and the differences are stark. During breaks, Trebek answers questions and interacts with the studio audience, whereas Sajak keeps his distance and doesn't say hardly anything.
ReplyDeleteNot Drew Carey. My mom was on the Price Is Right and was wearing a Marine Mom shirt (my brother is in the USMC), and he apparently chatted with her quite a bit about my brother and the Marines (Drew was in the Marines back in the day).
