ReplyDeleteI had to google. Apparently Marsha implied in her book in 2007 that she and Jan had a little fling during filming of the show. Cindy confirmed there was indeed a feud. haha

ReplyDeleteI always felt like Jan was very unlikable when I was a kid watching the show. Peter was my favorite Brady.
ReplyDeleteEve was really the only one who had even a little bit of a career outside of that show. Enough that she didn’t do anything with them for decades, but not very much of one.

ReplyDeleteEve is very nice. Several encounters where she didn't have to be nice and she was. And is a talented painter now with her acting projects.
ReplyDeleteMaureen is not. One encounter where she was paid to be nice and she could barely be gracious even then.

ReplyDeleteLook it up people!! Maureen was a REAALLLY bad coke addict for many years! I believe on/off for 20 yrs. That's a looong time.
ReplyDeleteDuring filming of the Brady Bunch Variety Show, she had to have a handler assigned to her because she kept running off. She wouldn't show up or she'd arrive brused, messed up or high or all three. She got a terrible reputation because of the drugs-she wasn't a very good actress but she was cute in a Jen Aniston kind of way.
Eve Plumb has had to deal with everyone thinking she WAS the character. People watched those episodes 20x as a kid and really thought the kids were those personalities. I've read that she was professional and showed up unlike Maureen. She did some acting in other TV shows in the 70's and she was actually pretty good, not great but ok. She had one controversal role as a runaway or prostitute-that was big in the late 70's.
