  2. I remember at first thinking this was the stupidest movie but then John Candy... The hallmark of a good actor, to me, is that one moment where they show you the underlying emotion. He played lonely and vulnerable in that film so beautifully. Tragic loss.

  10. I know he wasn't but, John Candy always seemed like a creepy pedo to me. I did not find him funny at all and i'm Canadian!

    No, he wasn't a perv, no worries there...He was married with two kids.

    My first in-laws had a cottage (not yer average cottages) down the road from him and they said they were a very nice family with no drama.
