Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Are Off Again & A January Jones Story

In the you probably don't care, but someone must because it is a cover story for a tabloid who wants to sell copies, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their wedding. The story says the couple are still together, but are working out some issues. You know, like if January Jones is pregnant or something. I remember this one time that I saw January out with a group of people. There were three women and three men and January was the 7th person. They were sitting right next to me and January said about two words to the women all night and was flirting non-stop with the guys and touching them and staring at them right in front of their dates/wives. Sure, the guys were a-holes to flirt like that, but January took it to the nth degree when a woman would go to the bathroom, January would go take her place at a different seat. Anyway, Miley & Liam have called off their June wedding and Miley has been enjoying herself and her love of pot as she gets ready to release her new record. Normally when people call off a wedding the relationship is not that far behind, but this is Miley we are talking about.

  1. I have personally witnessed women who are EXACTLY like that. But I give a side-eye to the JJ anecdote.

  2. Unless she announces a pregnancy in the next two months, Enty really needs to give it a rest with the January Jones slut shaming.

  3. I can only think of January Jones from her role in the American Pie wedding movie.

    1. @gmg - she was in Love Actually too - one of the American girls...

  4. Jeebus! How old is Miley? All of 19 or 20? Give her a break, Enty!

Girl is rocking the hell out of that outfit...not what I'd wear but she's rocking it these days! Good on you, girlie! Oh, and yes, I love her hair!!! :D

    1. Agree on all counts! I do love her hair - I wish I could pull it off!

  5. Reese--I think many bloggers mourn the days of 'Crazy Britney Breakdowns' and hope to crown a successor. It gets old.

  6. Becky Romain Lettuce is known to be just like the way JJ is described. She was at a party in Napa, CA where she did this to all the wives and girlfriends. It was a ritzy winery, and she is no longer welcomed there.

  7. Libby, I suspect you're right and how sad is that? To want to watch someone break down? I guess they must be 'emotionally healthy'. I would beg to differ, but I'm just a crazy lady. ;)

I say that as one who suffers from MI, so don't take offense.

  8. I love January Jones. Flirting is so subjective. Maybe she's just friendly? She has some of the best lines on Mad Men. "Only boring people are bored," is one of my mottos.

And, Enty. Where the eff is a Mad Men post?!?! I was late to the hijacked post on Monday. But we need a place to discuss!!

I really hope one day the baby daddy is revealed.

    1. @Susan, we made an OT post on the other board to keep the incredibly long rehashing out of this one. :b Holy cow, that epi!! Click through on my profile to link to it so we don't thread-crap or go OT (unless Enty does a MM post, then we'll just flock in and discuss the crap out of it again, haha).

  9. If JJ really behaves that way, its kind of sad. Mr liddy wld see thru that in a hot minute.
As for miley, they just too young. No harm no foul. It happens.

  10. Reese--And I suspect there may be a grain of mania in Miley....something may be a bit off. It seems like every action of celebs is framed to fit a particular rep or story....but to me, with Miley it reads like many bloggers are rooting for her to be REALLY ill, and that makes me crave a Silkwood shower.

  11. Manic Miley, yeah, I've picked up on that, too. Smoke up, Miley! ;)

  12. I don't even care what it's gonna sound like, I'm buying Miley's new album when it comes out. She has really grown on me in the last year or so.

  13. I wish that people would leave Miley alone a bit more. As was said sometime this week, she isn't a Lohag. She shows up to work on time and acts professionally. She smokes a lot of pot, but doesn't let it affect her work ethic. She has problems, definitely, but she's nowhere near the Lohag/Amanda Bynes category.

  14. @Seaward, you go! I recall that vid of Miley singing 'Jolene' and was so impressed. She has talent, no doubt. And, I find her likable. She's still a kid and I don't understand the hate. She is certainly no Lohag and even Lohag I don't hate.

  15. Better now to call off the marriage than to get divorced. It is sad to be publicly humiliated like she has been.

  16. I like Miley so much more now. She's kind of a bad ass and I'm glad she's dumped that loser.

  17. Girl has guts to handle it the way she has. Don't you dare go through with a wedding with a cheater - but make him "work on his issues" before being the one to cut him lose. That way his rep is as "incurable cheater" and hers becomes "patient, but not a doormat."
    Go Miles!

  18. *slap*

I finally realized that January Jones is one of *those* women. The ones who will talk to other women only if there are no men present. The second a man shows, her attention goes fully to the guy and the woman is ignored.

With women like that, the flirting is so ingrained in them that it might not mean anything romantic to them. They literally don't know any other way to relate to men.

  19. At least Liam still got the birthday 3sum. I hope he took some cell phone pics of it to be "hacked" at a later date.

  20. I'm getting a Debbie feel off of that outfit. No hate here (except for the hair, now that Justin's sharing it - poor girl).

I'm w/Libby on the side eye. There ARE women that do this (and it's pathetic and rude), but I think it'd be more widely reported if it was JJ. Entry really does not like JJ, it seems. Because she refuses to reveal the name of her baby's father?

  21. Haven't we all had failed engagements? This is just part of life. And scene. I'm just ready for this drama to be over with in the tabs and here.

  22. Is anyone telling Liam he is not acting appropriately or in Miley's best interest? This guy needs to be hammered out of his douchetastic ways. I feel so bad Miley is doing 3-somes to please him and yet he can't seem to treat her with any dignity or respect.

  23. I have a "friend" who is a disgusting flirt. At a church funeral a couple of years ago, I was sitting between her and my husband As she got up to take communion, she walked around to the row in front of us and was dragging her fingers languidly over the front of our pew, where my husband had his hands clasped. She intended to stroke his hand. At a funeral. In front of me. You can bet that I suddenly felt the urge to pray, so she stroked me instead. C**t.

Just for some insight, this is a chick who lost her virginity at 28 to a married guy. She had started dating him before he met his future wife. He dated them both. He got engaged to the new chick: Kept dating. He got married: Still dating. Then she decides to sleep with him. Soon after that, no more dating. Shocker, right? Insecure much?

    1. @loopy, that woman sounds lovely, and the married guy sounds like a tool. He should have married her and they could have lived happily ever after in their toolbox!

    2. She's so lovely. She married a different douchebag. When they were sending out their wedding thank-you cards, she noticed that he addressed one of them to, and I quote, "My #1 Wet Dream."

  24. I'm also giving a side eye to the January story. She's no saint but really?

And Miley is young and impulsive but who wasn't? I hope she leaves Liam for good, she doesn't need to take it.

  25. I saw American Wedding for the first time this weekend and I was surprised by how awful JJ is in it. I think she's wonderful in Man Men, perfectly cast, so it was weird to see her awfulness. (Just trying to get back to Mad Men for you guys, ha)

  26. @Izzie, you state "Entry really does not like JJ, it seems. Because she refuses to reveal the name of her baby's father?"

No, it could be as he was on the next table and didn't get any of the flirtin'?

  27. @Mala Propism I like your plan & I hope Miley adopts it. Revenge is a dish best served cold!

@All about Eve I love your pic of the Bieber and the childminder. It makes me laugh every single time I see it.

  28. I've seen plenty of pics of JJ out and about with what appear to be female friends. So, yeah, not really buying this.

  29. Also, I deliberately avoid any movie with January Jones in it, and will keep on doing that until Mad Men's over. I know she has limited range as an actor, but I think she is the most-Betty Betty there possibly could be - I love her in the role and Betty is quite possibly my favorite character on the show, and certainly the most interesting to me - and I don't want that tainted with thoughts of how bad she may be in other roles.

Other people talk about how awful she is in movies, but as long as I don't see it with my own eyes, it isn't a problem!

  30. @poovey-tunt, that is a good strategy!

I agree that Betty is fascinating. It was her character that got me hooked on the show. (I live in Philadelphia, and there are lots of former Bettyish ladies here!)

  31. I don't know where this story will end, but those two young people make me believe in humanity again. She's so beautiful and those eyes! He's a lanky Adonis, all dopey-eyed and "huh?" all the time. Oh, I love those crazy kids.

  32. I'm going to have to disagree with a lot of you here. I love the nasty stories about January Jones. Confirms what I've always suspected of her.

I also find her to be an *atrocious* actor - including on Mad Men - and I can barely watch scenes with Betty. She may *look* the part of Betty, but her line reading sounds like a 6-year-old struggling to read outloud in class. I guess you could say I'm not a fan.

    Just my 2 cents.

    ReplyDelete
  33. LMS&M: I'm with you. I don't think she's a very good actor either.

And any woman who spends her time flirting with taken men in front of their dates is obviously very insecure. I knew someone who's favorite man was YOURS. Then she even flirted with the girl I was dating (this, after she fucked my fiancé). As far as I know, to this day she's a miserable creature and that makes me happy.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love JJ as Betty, too! I've struggled on and off watching the show after her and Don divorced, I just liked them together and always hope they somehow come together again.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm not a fan of Miley's but I really don't want to watch her go off the deep end when she and Liam finally do split. It's just not something I want to be ringside for.

I wish that people would leave Miley alone a bit more.

She doesn't help by throwing herself out there. She's desperate for attention with the tweets and the photo ops, but I guess she's at that age.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Not surprising did anyone ever think these two would make it to the altar.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Women like JJ give all women a bad name. Women hate them and men use them.

As for Miley not part of her demographic (too old) but the best thing she could do is go on with her life. She should be enjoying life and seeing the world not married and having babies at her age.

    ReplyDelete
  38. This sort of makes me like her more. Not the cheating with taken guys, mind you, but the fact that she's obviously not the ice queen people portray her to be. Well, maybe to women. She can do what she wants, but it's the guys already in committed relationships that should probably beg off. They aren't animals. If women are expected to restrain themselves and get raked through the coals if they don't, they should be able to as well, or suffer the same wrath of public opinion. But alas, it doesn't work that way, does it?

    ReplyDelete
  39. That one screamed "first marriage". She's 10 years from being ready for a real marriage. I know more people who get married at 29 with the 30 deadline looming. 30 seems like the ideal age. Still time to start a family but all your 20's relationship drama is now in the rear view mirror.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So Camambert, how come Angelina Jolie gets gleefully slut shamed ALL the time, but we're not supposed to do it to JJ? Huh, that's funny.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Like anyone thought the engagement would last when they announced it. Who cares. There were probably several girls before January. She is just the 1st for him to get a photo taken- BUSTED!-with.

  42. "He's a lanky Adonis, all dopey-eyed and "huh?" all the time. Oh, I love those crazy kids."

God, that is the perfect description of him. Pretty, kind of, but dumber than a box of rocks. There are so many guys in Australia that are smarter, more talented and better looking that I suspect he pretty much only broke into Hollywood because he's Thor's brother. Chris seems to have it together.

I really hope people stop calling the Hemsworths an acting family. They are a family of people who act, that doesn't make you an acting family.
