This actor is C list, and has done 90% television. At one time in the not too distant past he was B list and decided to roll the dice for A list and came up empty. Since that roll of the dice it has been all downhill at a very fast rate. Even though our actor barely works, he was on a very big hit show for several years. People recognize him. He doesn't have a problem picking up women to take home. The other night he had four competing for his attention at a nightclub. A very crowded club. Instead of being a gentleman about his potential one night stand for that night, our actor said the one who took off the most clothes and got the most dirty while standing on the table would get to go home with him. All four ended up getting completely naked. This resulted in the actor and the women being asked to leave the club. When they got outside, our actor was asked who he had chosen and he replied, "None of you. I just wanted to see what you would do to f**k me."

ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry! I've never watched Veronica Mars, but MM was soap-brilliant in character as Adam. Whatever he did must have been major, they don't kick you to the curb for ego.

ReplyDeleteI love MM, and I don't even watch Y&R (certainly not since JFP got put in charge! She's the death of soaps.) Anyway, this just kinda makes me laugh. He's an arrogant prick, but you can't deny his talent (or his charm, apparently, at least until he's done being charming).
ReplyDeleteThis makes me sad. My cousin died last year from pancreatic cancer. MM went out of his way to help her. He would call her and talk to her. He made it possible for her to go to MD Anderson in Texas. Paid for the trip.

ReplyDeleteLike Dainty, I'm sad to read this. I met him at a "Chicagoans in Hollywood" party and he was very nice and a complete opposite of his character on the soap. Couldn't stop talking about his kids and the fact that his wife was pregnant. Bill Bell was there and spoke highly of him which made we wonder what he'd done to get canned. Very sorry to hear this about him...

@iknowpeople try again... Y&R creator Bill Bell died in 2005 and Muhney didn't join the cast until 2009.
ReplyDelete@Bold, My mistake, it was the son, Bradley Bell. No need to get your shorts in a wad. It was an honest mistake. BTW, Laura Lee Bell has a former high ranking Chicago Police commander (a friend of mine) as a mother-in-law, so the family's ties to Chicago run strong.
Delete@FoxCrane, thanks for having my back. I'm not sure Bill Jr. was there; if he was, I didn't meet him. There are always a lot of great Chicagoans in the industry to catch up with at that party, starting with the incomparable Murray brothers, Chris O'Donnell, etc.

ReplyDelete@Bold Restless - iknowpeople probably meant Bill Bell JUNIOR. He's the oldest "behind the scenes" son of The Bells who is currently president of his deceased father's two companies: "Bell Dramatic Serial Company" (Y&R) and "Bell-Phillip Prodcctions" (B&B). He's also Maria Arena Bell's husband. I believe Junior was born and raised in Chicago, so could very easily have attended such an event.
