Why did this beloved A/A- list mostly television actress walk away from a very popular network show that has several other spinoffs? No explanation from her was ever given, but apparently she had a huge opioid addiction. Being on a set every day for long stretches just gave her too much opportunity to keep taking them. She said she needed a change and several months of rehab and then outpatient treatment. She is finally at a point where she is working again, but she says never television again. It has too many triggers.

She only announced she was leaving in October, and said it would be after the current season. Not sure if that would fit the Blind in terms of enough time to have already been in treatment?

DeleteJorja Fox? She hasn't done TV since CSI, or really anything else. I don't see any upcoming projects, but maybe she is doing theater. The last story I see about her is about selling her house in 2016.

DeleteYes love the Sophia Bush guess and yes she is beloved. Loved her in One Tree Hill and loved her in Chicago PD. Her leaving was totally out of the blue. Almost as shocking as Nadine leaving Madame Secretary, still something fishy there, she was a major part of show and left in middle of season.

ReplyDeleteEnty considers Cote as A-/B+ actress, if you read his other blinds she's most likely the subject of. And she left almost 5 years ago, I doubt he would be doing a blind about something so outdated. And Cote doesn't use drugs. I'd say this is Sophia Bush because it's much more recent. She didn't leave bc of the drug addiction, she just happened to have one.

DeleteNo way it’s Cote de Pablo. Enty doesn’t refer to her as an A list TV actress. Plus, her reason for leaving the show was revealed last week. I’m guessing Marg Helgenberger.
DeleteAs someone mentioned above, Sophia Bush left Chicago PD because of Jason Beghe's anger issues. She has since announced that she has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to development a new TV show in which she will star. Since the blind says the actress no longer wants to be involved in television, this cannot be Sophia.

ReplyDeleteThis excuse is bullshit. Everybody goes home at the end of the day with TV. It's movie sets that have people hanging around day after day, waiting to film something, for months on end.

No, Cote De Pablo doesn't make sense at all. After leaving the show she was a representative at some movie Festival,then filming a movie for months, then was back to TV for a limited series and right now she doesn't have any shows/movies.
