It was not that long ago that this A list actor who stars in movies and an almost television show and really should probably be just a G short of an EGOT but is missing two parts almost brought down a secret society all by himself. I'm not saying it would be a bad idea if he brought it down, but it shows that it depends on its members and their guests to follow the rules. If they don't disaster happens. At the annual meeting of this society, no cameras are allowed. Sure, some have been sneaked in, but there are no cameras or phones. If you bring one you are to put it in a locker and you can retrieve it when you leave. Well, our actor likes to record first sexual encounters with guys for later viewing material and he wasn't going to let anything stop him. The society stocks their event with barely legal gay men who make some very big money for some very closeted big money men. Our actor is closeted and he loved every second of his time there until someone discovered he was filming. The s**t hit the fan. The member who invited him got a three year suspension. Other members who also knew but didn't say anything got suspended. Our actor tried to apologize and did apologize - apparently sincerely which is why his member only got suspended for three years and not expelled. The actor had to turn over all the recordings. Some involve other members and those will probably be used to blackmail them. This is the craziest place and that incident just added to the craziness.

The no-kill shelter from which Lena Dunham adopted Lamby — the dog she recently gave away after what she described as “four years of challenging behavior and aggression” — isn’t buying her story.
On June 21, the Girls alum shared on Instagram her “heartbreaking” decision to give away Lamby to an “amazing professional facility” in L.A. to be cared for by someone “educated in a rescue dog’s specific trauma.” Dunham noted that “Lamby suffered terrible abuse as a pup,” which “made having him in a typical home environment dangerous to him and others” and she and boyfriend musician Jack Antonoff “needed to be responsible to ourselves, our neighbors and especially our beloved boy.” They also needed to save their home, as the dog “ruined floors and couches and our life.”
A spokesperson for BARC Shelter in Brooklyn — where Dunham adopted Lamby in January 2013 before going on to make the dog a star by detailing his adoption in a New Yorker article, showing him off in magazine spreads like Vogue, and spotlighting him on her Instagram feed — has a different story though. For starters, the pet didn’t have a long history of abuse prior to Lena bringing him home.
“We checked the records for Lamby,” Robert Vazquez told Yahoo Celebrity via email. “He was ‘owner surrendered, not enough time,’ so we do not know where she got ‘multiple owners that abused the dog.’” (In her New Yorker piece from March 2013, Dunham said the dog had “three other homes, three other names, but now he’s mine mine mine.”)
At the time of his adoption by the star, the dog was just 1 “nearing 2-years-old” — and he didn’t have a history of being aggressive. If Lamby had a bad past or was abused, do you think BARC would have adopted him to Lena knowing she’s a new star and put her — or the dog — in that situation? We would have told her if the dog had issues. We are a no-kill shelter. We don’t lie about the dogs’ histories because that gets them returned — and mentally it’s not good for dogs.”

Judge Steve O’Neill signed an order Thursday that requires all parties to report to the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown on November 6.
Cosby will again be tried on charges he drugged and molested a woman more than a decade ago. A mistrial was declared on June 17 after the jury failed to reach a verdict after more than 52 hours and six days of deliberations.
Cosby says his encounter with accuser Andrea Constand was consensual.

With Blac Chyna back on the money for sex roller coaster, and not being shy about hiding it, Rob Kardashian was going to get ticked. It was just a matter of when. Yesterday was that day. MMA Fighter Murdered In His Home
A professional mixed martial arts fighter was shot in his family’s home west of Boca Raton, Florida during a home invasion and later died of his injuries.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office identified the shooting victim on Tuesday as Aaron Rajman, 25, of suburban Boca Raton. The shooting occurred about 10:25 p.m. after several men entered the house and a fight ensued, a sheriff’s office press release said. Several men then fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction after the shooting, the press release said. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the case as a homicide and have only vague information about the suspects.
Shortly after Rajman’s name was announced, friends and associates on Facebook and Twitter started announcing he was a MMA fighter.
One such post appeared on the Facebook page of West Boca Tai Chi, a martial arts school, which said Rajman was a mixed martial arts fighter who practiced at the school. In the Facebook post in Rajman’s memory, the school said three men had gunned him down in his family’s home in the middle of the night.
This “young man, with his huge heart, and quick smile, will be mourned and missed by his family and friends,” the post said.
According to the fight site Sherdog, Rajman was a 145-pound featherweight who trained at American Top Team in Coconut Creek and had an amateur record of 8-1 and a professional record of 2-2. Another site, The Underground, said he had an amateur record of 8-1. He lost his last professional fight, on May 7, 2016, in a TKO to Luis Raul Gomez Alvarez.

This almost television show cost SO MUCH MONEY but go so little return that the numbers equate to about $100 per viewer. Yeah, that is not going to work. The company gave this B+ list dual threat director who was probably A list back in the day, a huge amount of financial leeway. Very few people watched it, but those who did were very very vocal. So the company said they would have to cancel it if a) they didn't reign in their spending and b) if their spending wasn't reigned in, it was up to them to wrap it up because they would have to cancel it if not. Instead of reigning in their cost, they spent extra, forcing the cancellation of their show, making it look like the company didn't support their endeavor and ticking off their small but very vocal audience.

This deceased permanent A+ list actress and screen legend is an icon. And so much has been written and portrayed about her life that most people think they know everything about her that there is to know. Maybe that’s true, but I got an interesting email from a CDAN reader recently that may shed some new light on all that. Our A+ list actress (who I’ll call Ms. D) had a very public image that was quite different than who she really was in private. And even the private side of her that has been out there for public consumption doesn’t really do her justice in some ways. This reader told me an interesting story about this actress that pretty much proves that.
Ms. D., at one point in her career, withdrew from the entertainment business to try to focus on her personal life. In doing so, she relocated to a smaller community where she attempted to live quietly among the locals. Even though the residents there knew who she was (you’d had to be from Mars not to), they tried to respect her privacy and treat her like a regular person as much as they could. Small town people were like that back then – they really just tried to mind their own business. These folks were also mostly poor, from working class immigrant families, so they had bigger problems to worry about than whether a celebrity was living nearby.
My reader’s father and his family were also living in this community during that time and got to know Ms. D quite well. Her dad was a teenager then and had an after-school job working in a small business where our actress was a regular customer. My reader’s Dad remembers Ms. D as a kind, funny and very generous person, and also describes her as being much more beautiful in person than she was on screen. Ms. D was really nice to all the small business owners in the town and at this particular business, would give very generous tips to the young kids working there, including my reader’s father. Again, a lot of these kids came from poor immigrant backgrounds and the extra money from those tips helped put food on a lot of those family’s tables. After living in this community for some time, Ms. D was on a first name basis with all these kids and of course, as you would expect, they were all a little in love with her too.
After she’d been living there for about a year, Ms. D made one of her regular visits to this particular business and noticed that my reader’s Dad was not there that day. (I’ll call him Johnny.) Our actress asked the owner of the business where Johnny was, and he sadly explained that Johnny’s mother had died suddenly and unexpectedly the prior day. (Since Johnny’s family was also one of those large immigrant families who were poor, this made the loss even worse.) Our actress made the funeral parlor owner promise not to tell the family who paid the bill and also asked for the address of the family’s church where the funeral mass was being held. As you can imagine, the owner of the funeral parlor was gobsmacked about this whole situation, and immediately called the parish Priest and told him what had gone down and that our actress might be coming to the church too. The following day, Ms. D went to the church to see the Priest. The Priest was apparently so impressed with the visit from our actress that he documented the visit in church records.
Anyway, because Ms. D had paid for the funeral, the donation monies that were traditionally collected by the parish to help pay for the funeral were instead given to the family directly. This small amount of money enabled the surviving family to move to a new area to get a fresh start which they desperately needed after this tragic loss. This also had the long term effect of placing Johnny and his siblings in a better living situation, which made their futures as adults more stable as well. The family was told that all the funds came from the church, so they had no clue at the time that Ms. D had paid for the funeral. They just assumed that the church and community had helped, which was not uncommon in those days.
The craziest part about this story is that the family only became aware of our actress’s generosity very recently. They had all heard the stories from Johnny about getting to know Ms. D. back in the day, but none of them had any idea about this huge kindness from her. My reader only uncovered this story while she was doing family geneaology research. She traveled from out of State to visit the area where the family had lived and discovered that the church they attended had been closed down in the 1970s. That parish had been merged into another one, but she was able to visit the new parish to look at the old archived records from the church, which were remarkably detailed and intact. It was there that she uncovered the journaled entry from the Priest about Ms. D making the payment towards the funeral. There was also another surprise: according to these same church archives, Ms. D also made a ‘sizable” donation to the church’s school at around the same time. Back then, this school had served the same community of poor immigrant families, so that money likely helped a lot of those kids continue get a decent education too. Pretty amazing.
As luck would have it, the elderly Parish secretary who worked at the new church was also the daughter of the now-deceased secretary of the old church. She and my reader had a lot of fun uncovering all this stuff in their research. And come to find out, Ms. D and her kindness wasn’t such a big secret after all. Apparently a lot of the old timers from the old church and neighborhood had heard rumors about Ms. D and her generosity floating around for years. And of course, my reader’s father and the family had no idea about any of it, since they’d moved away after their mother’s death. When they were finally told this incredible story, they all cried. They were amazed and sad at the same time, not only because they had no idea about any of this for decades, but also because of the way Ms. D’s life turned out later.

And so much has been written and portrayed about her life that most people think they know everything about her that there is to know. Maybe that’s true, but I got an interesting email from a CDAN reader recently that may shed some new light on all that. Our A+ list actress (who I’ll call Ms. D) had a very public image that was quite different than who she really was in private. And even the private side of her that has been out there for public consumption doesn’t really do her justice in some ways. This reader told me an interesting story about this actress that pretty much proves that.
Ms. D., at one point in her career, withdrew from the entertainment business to try to focus on her personal life. In doing so, she relocated to a smaller community where she attempted to live quietly among the locals. Even though the residents there knew who she was (you’d had to be from Mars not to), they tried to respect her privacy and treat her like a regular person as much as they could. Small town people were like that back then – they really just tried to mind their own business. These folks were also mostly poor, from working class immigrant families, so they had bigger problems to worry about than whether a celebrity was living nearby.
My reader’s father and his family were also living in this community during that time and got to know Ms. D quite well. Her dad was a teenager then and had an after-school job working in a small business where our actress was a regular customer. My reader’s Dad remembers Ms. D as a kind, funny and very generous person, and also describes her as being much more beautiful in person than she was on screen. Ms. D was really nice to all the small business owners in the town and at this particular business, would give very generous tips to the young kids working there, including my reader’s father. Again, a lot of these kids came from poor immigrant backgrounds and the extra money from those tips helped put food on a lot of those family’s tables. After living in this community for some time, Ms. D was on a first name basis with all these kids and of course, as you would expect, they were all a little in love with her too.
After she’d been living there for about a year, Ms. D made one of her regular visits to this particular business and noticed that my reader’s Dad was not there that day. (I’ll call him Johnny.) One of the most cold blooded things I ever saw happen was at this party for a tweener show. A very famous, long running tween show. This must have been the third or fourth season of the show. Anyway, this regular cast member was 18. Maybe still 17. I am fuzzy about what month it was and it was right at the line of 17/18. I was stopping by the party for a quick minute at the most. Unlike their former boss, I don’t like to party with tweeners. Anyway, this actress is doing lines of coke like crazy. She really starts to get agitated at one point and starts jumping around almost like she was in a mosh pit. She slammed into this big glass award case. The glass is everywhere. Awards in it have hit the ground and broken. So, the perv boss comes by and asks what happened and the actress without missing a beat pointed out a feature player who was hoping to be promoted and said the featured player pushed the actress into the cabinet. The perv turns to the featured player and says you are fired. She never had an on camera job again.

At the time, the story was that this pseudo relative was going to spill the beans on some tabloid stuff but no one really believed her. Well, they kind of believed her and there were a lot of tabloid covers printed with her story. The thing is though, that was just her first salvo in the taking down of this reality family. They knew it. They also wanted to put a stop to it so they paid her a great deal of money. Slightly over $1M to make everything go away. Not just her story, but every piece of written documentation she had about what would really bring down the family. Honestly, we would still be talking about it every week in the tabloids if it had been released. Apparently there were documents that existed that proved that a now deceased family member of the reality family had hired a hitman to accomplish what was then later done by someone else. The documents would have moved all this from the back pages of the internet to the front pages of tabloids and newspapers and countless news cycles on the 24/7 news channels.

I hadn’t thought about this one in awhile when I saw one of the subjects in the news today and it brought it all back. This happened not even a decade ago, but not many people probably remember it. It involves a permanent A list mostly movie actor and a celebrity who at the time was not that high on the celebrity list and known more for who she had been married to. Things are hot and heavy between our couple and they decide they should take things to the next level. There was just one problem. OK, more than one problem. Our actor had been telling the celebrity repeatedly for a long time that his most recent ex was lying about something big. It turns out it was our actor who was lying. Our actor also told the celebrity he was into some kinky sex. She was too, BUT, he failed to mention that he also liked to involve a third person and who that person was. Finally, he was upset that the celebrity would not be willing to drop something despite her telling him that she needed to keep it in order to keep getting paid as part of her previous divorce agreement. ALL of these things came out in one night. All of it. It was the fight of fights. The argument of arguments and they were done the next day. To keep her silence, our actor wrote her a $1M check right there and then.

Back in the day, Hollywood celebrities didn’t want to go overseas to get their adopted children, they wanted American babies. They also didn’t want to wait in line or complete any paperwork. If at all possible they also wanted a third party or even a fourth party in the middle of the whole process. Adoption agencies tended to talk and studios would have to pay off money to keep the adoption agencies quiet about the biological parents of babies that actors and actresses were adopting. What to do. Well, one studio decided to partner with an “adoption agency” in the south. Only thing was that it was not a normal adoption agency. Sure, the babies that came from them were properly documented as being adopted, but it was everything else that was not quite above board. The babies were bought. The agency paid the pregnant woman and then sold the baby to some Hollywood actor/actress for a profit. A significant profit. Sometimes they would buy a baby for $500 and sell the baby for as much as $10,000.
Anyway, there was this actor who was probably B list back in Old Hollywood. He also wrote a bunch of songs. A bunch as in several hundred so he was a singer/songwriter too. He specialized in Westerns and even had a lot of other talents that made him money. He volunteered a lot with children but after the third or fourth parent complained about his touching their kids, he decided to find a different way to get kids. He found this agency through a very good friend of his who was an A+ list mostly movie actress. The next thing you know, our actor bought five kids over the years, all of them molested and abused throughout their entire childhood. Our actor died at a relatively young age and it is said one of his kids killed him.

As far as blinds go, this one is unusual. It’s proof that the most unexpected of people can hook up. Back in the day, this permanent A-list actor-who-does-everything was already reaching superstar status. He had just completed a film which made him an icon and also made the city where it was filmed even more famous than it already was. Our actor, who we’ll call Mr. H, was having a love affair with this particular city at that time, for a lot of reasons. He was never really someone who enjoyed LA or the lifestyle all that much. He enjoyed this city because of it’s laid back attitude and also because people there for the most part respected his privacy.
This was particularly important because Mr. H was not faithful to his wife at that time and wanted to be a free agent without the LA gossip mill repeating things back to her. These were also different times, and it was easier to get outside of LA without the Paps following you around and recording your every move. So anyway, Mr. H decided he liked this city so much that he purchased a condo there. This was in a newly built high rise building that had incredible views of the area’s scenery. The condo was on the edge of the city, so our Actor had the privacy there that he wanted. Mr. H’s wife also knew about the condo, but was told by our actor it was for him to stay in while working, since everyone knew his movie was going to be huge and would bring more and more interest to the area for other projects he wanted to be involved in. Condos were a relatively new thing during this time and this one was all about luxury.
All of Mr. H’s wealthy neighbors knew he was living there but for the most part left him alone. Anyone who encountered him in the neighborhood remembered how nice he was. There were a lot of small businesses near his building and Mr. H befriended a local man who owned one of those businesses. They became good friends and would often have a beer and just hang out.
We’ll call this business owner Mr. B. Mr. B. was a really nice guy who was also friends with this permanent A list public figure. I guess you could call her a celebrity, but maybe an infamous one at that time. Mr. B knew this young woman quite well, who we will call Ms. P. Ms. P is one of the most interesting people of the 20th century and for her own reasons, is also an icon. She came from a background of great adversity, but was recognized for her genius level abilities at a young age. By the time she found herself in the sphere of Mr B. (and our actor) she had traveled the world and was already a very famous (or, again, infamous) public figure in her own right. At some point in time, Mr B. introduced Ms. P to our actor.
Our actor became infatuated with her almost immediately. He was older than Ms. P, and their backgrounds could not have been more different. In spite of that, they really hit it off and became close very quickly. It wasn’t long before Ms. P was seen leaving the condo at all hours. There were more than a few raised eyebrows from the neighbors. A few months after becoming involved with Mr. H, Ms. P found herself in a very, very serious situation. She had become involved with a scenario with would permanently alter her life and have serious ramifications going forward. She was in real trouble. Mr H was alerted to this trouble by Mr. B and stepped in to help Ms. H financially and in other ways.
Mr. H used Mr. B as an intermediary so that no one would be able to trace the financial and other help back to him. If the public had found out about Mr. H’s involvement with Ms. P at that time, his career and marriage would have been over. Mr. H spent a lot of money and without his help, Ms. P’s life would have been destroyed. Mr. H also used his connections to secure a career path for Ms. P that she has parlayed into good things to this day. Mr. H has also quietly supported Ms. P’s other endeavors over the years which is ironic considering the way he likes to be portrayed.

There were more than a few raised eyebrows from the neighbors. A few months after becoming involved with Mr. H, Ms. P found herself in a very, very serious situation. Mr. H used Mr. B as an intermediary so that no one would be able to trace the financial and other help back to him. If the public had found out about Mr. H’s involvement with Ms. P at that time, his career and marriage would have been over. Anyway, there are several situations involving Mr. H that are not known publicly. These scandals, if made public, would make the prior stuff involving our celebrity look like a day at Disneyland. Mr. H is very nervous right now because of a recent event that may unearth one of these secrets. If one of these particular situations were to become public knowledge, it would cause big problems for Mr H and his career path going forward. Not only could it totally derail those career plans, but also could do some serious damage in his personal life.
But, before we get to that, we need to take a trip in the Wayback Machine for a little history on this guy. As I already wrote, he has some character issues. He’s self centered and at heart, weak and ineffectual. This is mostly due to his upbringing. Mr. H also has a monster ego and sense of righteousness- and a nasty streak a mile wide if he’s challenged. It’s his way or the highway. He’s also had a history of making bad decisions about women, mostly because he vacillates between being weak and then alpha aggressive. Big time Mommy issues. No one can reign this guy in, not even his family members. One of his worst choices was to get involved with a particular woman when he was younger. He moved on from that eventually, but that particular woman lurked in the background of his life for a long time, causing a lot of collateral damage later. Mr H has also had a number of public relationships that did not work out. He eventually did get married- for the wrong reasons- and the marriage was a total disaster that played itself out in the public eye. What made it worse was that Mr. H cheated– a lot. Not only did he cheat publicly, but had other not-publicly known liaisons, including an affair with the hired help. Those around him were horrified about his bad judgment and a good deal of time and energy had to be spent doing damage control around his public image. This stuff had all the makings of an epic rubbish fire.
Now, back to the present day. Mr. H is on pins and needles because of a potentially emerging scandal which would dredge up all the old stories of his past. The scenario he is worried about involves a young woman who we’ll call Miss E. Miss E is a B list celebrity in her own little circle. She and her family have been close to Mr. H and his family for years. What the public doesn’t know is that Mr H had a long term affair with Miss E, starting from when she was barely out of her teens. Miss E harbored fantasies for years about marrying Mr. H. He, of course, strung her along with false promises about where the relationship was going (which was nowhere). The affair went on for a long time before she realized she was just being strung along. The problem is that Mr H could be so charming at times that she just could not say no to him, even though she knew she’d never be anything more than a hookup. Despite her attempts to break free from him, Miss E always went back when he called. One reason was low self esteem. The other was the money he would send her way. Several of her friends know about the couple. They also know that something that happened recently between the pair has the potential to expose their relationship which would make front page news and ruin Mr. H for all time.

(We’ll call the enraged woman Mrs. C.) Mrs. C’s scorned-woman rage was epic. She was wildly jealous and vowed revenge on Mrs. K. and was pretty successful at smearing Mrs. K’s reputation. Mrs. K was no pushover though. She had a trusted employee who had family ties to the world of voodoo and would confide her anguish about the smear campaign to this employee. The employee was totally loyal to Mrs. K and decided to contact her family members in the islands about what was happening to Mrs. K.
A relative of the employee, with ties to the spiritual underworld there, offered to do a ritual in order to stop Mrs. C’s revenge campaign. The ritual was done– and outwardly was just meant to protect Mrs. K from future attacks on her reputation. But what Mrs. K didn’t know was that the servant also secretly had a curse placed on Mrs. C. and those around her. This may seem like stuff from an old carnival fortune teller, but this was serious stuff back then and still is now. Over the years, family members of the employee (now dead) have whispered about this ritual and it’s power. They believe that the ritual is still in play and has continued to cause illness, tragedy, and scandal in Mrs. C’s circle even to this day.

Last week I saw that tickets were still on sale for a show from this 80’s Welsh band. They liked to consider themselves punk. I guess they were. Definitely 120 Minutes was their sweet spot but that was not really punk. Anyway, for the last 25 years or so they found a new way to pick up women. They were tired of playing shows and then only seeing the same groupies night after night getting back stage. They didn’t trust their roadies to find attractive women, so they figured out a novel plan. Before they played a show they would have a meet and greet with everyone who was there at a certain time. Someone would keep track of all the woman found attractive and those women would be invited on stage at some point during the show and then shuttled off to backstage after a quick grind. The road manager would then ask if the women were interested in partying with the band backstage and in the bus and their hotel rooms. If the woman said yes, they got a backstage pass. If she said no, she was escorted back out front. The band still does it the same way now. They make it seem more high and mighty than a meet and greet, but it is the same long con they have been running for decades. It looks like they had one top 40 record in the US and shockingly enough they look to have had more success in the US rather than in their home country. They were part of the foundation of my history in music but they still are a bunch of pretentious f**ks to be doing the same thing on tour this year as they did back in the day. Come to think of it, they were pretentious back in the day too.

A few weeks ago I ran into the daughter of this permanent A+ lister. We talked about what was going on in her world and then I asked her for any old Golden Globe or Academy Award stories her father had told her that I could use. She had a few, but she said the one he talked about the most was one particular year. She says it was special to him because he was nominated. Both are permanent A listers. One is till alive. The deceased one will be permanent A+ list into eternity. They hated each other and would literally shout two tables away about how the other was an awful human being. You had this first time nominee who was probably more famous for a very long running network tv show that came after, doing lines of coke with the nominated offspring of a Hollywood legend. The offspring has often been the subject of where did she go rumors. In the middle were the pricks. All A lsiters. All thinking they are the biggest of big shots. The prime of their career permanent A listers. One was the celebrity offspring of an A lister. He was fondling women while his wife was there and making plans to f**k another woman the next day. He just acted like his d**k was bigger than everyone. He tried to hit on this winner from that night who had just won an award but her monster breakout classic film of all time was still a few months away from being released. When she turned him down, he called her a b**ch. They spoke one time after. Ever. And that was about a year later. She hates him to this day. Someone wrote into to me and asked about a show that was canceled last year. It had such potential, so why was it canceled so soon they wanted to know. I actually wrote about the show in a different kind of way last year. There were so many moving parts behind the scenes that it had no chance of succeeding despite what it looked like from the outside.
It was a network show. Very short lived. it begins with the lead actress. An amazing person and an even better actress. Emmy winner/nominee. Multiple very popular hit shows in different formats. This was going to be her chance to be the star. Not just one of many, but the star. In her haste to be the star, she gave up another Emmy win/nomination. Plain and simple it would have been hers. Because she wanted to be the lead she didn’t look at the fact that her male lead co-star was doing it for the paycheck, just like he does everything else. He is a workaholic. Tell him to be somewhere and he will be there and will show up on time and work hard. The thing is though, he only has one character and one tone to all his roles. That is why, for the most part his greatest successes have been as a voice over guy. Our actress got no say in the casting of that role. While working on the show, he also had five other projects and the producers told him he could do them all.
She also got no say in the casting of the guy who preferred to drink rather than act. This caused issues. Then, there were his what seemed like daily doctor appointments. There were two younger characters on the show, one of whom decided she was the biggest star on the show or had been led to believe that by her people so acted like that from day one. Plus, the producers and showrunner hinted she was going to be the focus of the show. All of this combined with another actress who was a bulimic and the whole thing was a disaster from start to finish. Canceling the show was putting it out of its misery.

Unfortunately she was unbelievably rude. Of course I wouldn’t allow my daughter to approach her and ask for autograph, selfie, etc. I respect people’s private time. But she and her date were right in our sight of vision and foreign born A+ list singer asked the manager to come and tell us to stop looking at her and taking pictures (nobody was taking pictures – my daughter was texting her friends) because we were making her uncomfortable. It was beyond humiliating!
Thanks everyone. I was angry and disgusted last night. My daughter was embarrassed (got tears in her eyes) because the restaurant manager called her out in a very harsh, rude way – and she wasn’t even doing anything – which I promptly explained to the manager. To which he replied “well she and her date feel uncomfortable.” Seriously?!I explained to my daughter that she had done absolutely nothing wrong and this is a good lesson in life on how to treat people and that you should never forget where you come from. The singer’s bodyguard was by the door when we left (which we left promptly because of the situation) and you know me – I said “I’m sorry you work for someone like that.” He did actually follow us outside and asked what happened. He refused to believe that the singer would do that to a child and that the manager must have just been being rude. I say shame on her and the manager!!

This rock star is not from LA and had deep ties to his home town and lots and lots of friends in the music scene there. The girl he married also worked as his band’s manager, and was instrumental in getting the band signed. She also worked with a number of other bands and helped them get signed and also kept them from getting completely screwed over by record companies. She was well respected on their home turf for protecting the musicians from there and also for being a pretty decent human being.
Anyway, early on, this band was very successful both critically and financially. Right before the band hit it big, the rock star and his wife had a child. This couple were so down to earth that they even remained living in the same small house they had purchased early in their relationship, and planned to raise their child in that environment, as to not lose touch with what was real. Of course, things didn’t go as planned. The rock star started to enjoy his success and the stuff that came with it. He started to become rude, obnoxious and greedy. As is often the case, he changed. His band mates noticed the change and didn’t like it either. This resulted in a lot of fighting in the band- and eventually the band broke up over this difference in values. There was no reason given for the breakup, but anyone who had been paying attention could see what was happening there. It was the classic story of the lead singer who gets a fat head, corrupted values and thinks they no longer need their band or the people who were with them in the lean times anymore. At the same time this happened, the marriage between the singer and his hardworking wife started to unravel. There was cheating and also the singer was away more and more and was not spending any time with the wife or their child.
The singer eventually met another woman from a family notorious for being greedy social climbers. People who knew this woman and her family from years ago say that her mother planned for years to marry her off to someone rich and famous and was “training” her from a young age with that goal in mind. (A version of PMK before her time.) The training apparently worked because once this woman had this singer in her cross hairs, she was determined to break up his family and was successful in doing so. No one close to the singer could figure out what he saw in her, though. She was rude, mean, and not very attractive. Her lack of personal charm also made her appear even uglier and friends around him had funny nicknames for her, one of which was ‘troll’. This woman sealed the deal by getting pregnant very quickly so that a divorce would be initiated by the long suffering wife. While destroying this guy’s marriage wasn’t enough, the new girlfriend also convinced the singer that his estranged wife (who remember was also his manager) had cheated him and his band mates out of millions of dollars. He bought this hook line and sinker and not only was the divorce bitter but other litigation dragged on for years, and the accusations of financial mismanagement by the wife publicly smeared her reputation. The singer tried to drag his former band mates into the litigation fray as well– even though they knew the estranged wife had not done anything deliberately wrong. The ex wife was dragged though court to the point where she was bordering on bankruptcy when things were finally settled. The new girlfriend was just hell bent on dragging the ex wife through the mud. Not long after things were settled legally, the singer and the girlfriend finally got married. One of the attendees of the marriage ceremony also saw the true colors of the bride and expressed concern about her and her family’s shady vibe to people around the singer. Sadly, she died herself under mysterious circumstances later.

Rumor has it that a series of poor decisions were made there including getting the singer to invest a large sum of money into a business run by her family. Bad idea. What is even funnier is that his current wife and her family are so financially shady that the singer has no idea how badly he’s been ripped off. Yet. So its looking like karma is real and the wrongly accused former wife is going to be laughing her ass off when the details about the current wife and her family’s financial shenanigans come to light.
