The Count is my favorite Sesame Street character. I used to work with a guy that had the same laugh as the Count. Cracked me the hell up. RIP Jerry Nelson.
Super sad. :( Rest In Peace.
I frickin love the Cunt. He was my favorite!!! Rip
Omg Amy! Typo! Lmao
Do you really Amy? Haha
That typo made me laugh like the Count :)
Congrats, Amy!
I loved the COunt and especially Snuffalufagus (sp?) when I was little.
@Ms Cool, I felt strangely let down when everyone else (besides Big Bird) could see Snuffie.
Hey @rejectedcarebear I think it was you who commented on my Fred Rogers av the other day and I never got a chance to respond. The Neighbirhood used to be a lot rougher in those days... :P
Neighborhood. Autocorrect failed me!
One.....ah, ah, ahhhhh. RIP Jerry :-(
And he's still making us laugh! I love the cOunt too.
Poor Amy's gonna come back later and be mortified.
LMAO @ Amy. Her accidental comment made my morning.
But I loved the Count! ONE! One fabulous voice gone...
@ Amy--I never saw that character on Sesame Street!
RIP Mr. Nelson.
Rip :(
Well Amy, I'm more of a fan of the Cock, but to each their own.
RIP to the Count. That is a great character.
Ahhhh!!!! Omg!! I so meant Count :). I too am a fan of the cock. Got 2 in my backyard!!
RIP.
A sad post that literally made me LOL. Amy...
RIP Mr. Nelson. Thanks for the generations of memories.
Wth are 'unspecified causes'? Is it a disease? Could i have it now?? Anyway, rest in peace, count, and thanks for memories.
I loved The Count. You entertained a a few generations. Rest in peace, dear man.
I read that he had emphysema. Brutal way to go.
When I was little, I didn't really start speaking for a long enough time for my family to be moderately concerned. When I finally started, it was ALL about Sesame Street. Long, complicated sentences, possibly paragraphs, about Sesame Street just would pour out of my mouth, apparently. So, yeah, it was my show when I was a kid. Every death amongst the cast hurts, even people whose faces I didn't even know.
Thanks, Mr. Nelson, from five-year-old me.
Oh, and yep, you can see the cannula in the picture. Poor man.
RIP
omg, I have been giggling to no end from the start of Amy's comment reading on down! Thanks guys! LMAO
Ok, I thought I was seeing a cannula in that picture. Thanks, anongkhla. My other thought was a string from a costume beard or hat, and that didn't make sense :-).
RIP, Count.
GOD, I usedto love Fraggle Rock.
