Blind Items Revealed

August 28, 2012

Beneath the quirky exterior of this former A list movie actor from some of the biggest movies of all time and still a very nice B+ who has dabbled part-time in television is a person who can only get satisfied sexually if there is a little extra kink in his sex life. And by kink I mean he likes to do some tying up and spanking and even likes to bring out his whip and other toys if his partner is willing. Our actor had one long term relationship with someone who shared his kink. She used to be an almost A list actress in both television and movies. The problem was she liked to return the favor so to speak and our actor could not handle that. He likes to be in charge. Since the long term relationship ended he has moved from young model to young model. The problem he has discovered is that because they are models they have a trouble making a living with the bruises and other marks he likes to give them on their bodies. He is a big fan of dating all colors under the rainbow. Finally he seems to have found a model who said he can do whatever he likes, but he has to pay her her rate if she has to miss a job because of the damage he has done to her.

All I know about these types of relationships is what I read in 50 Shades of Whey so correct me if I'm wrong - isn't it a sub/dom relationship? If you have two doms, then wouldn't it end up like Paul Simon and Edie Brickell? Then it would be logical that he didn't like to receive pain, no?

(Apologies if I offend anyone, I really know nothing about this.)

I loved him.. Love him. Should have known he was a freak. But dang Geena!

These stories tend to bring out readers with their "you are so uneducated about s&m blahblahblah" like the whole world revolves around their sex lives and anyone whos not into that gives a shit what they do behind closed doors. Whatever floats your boat just don't expect everyone to educate themselves on it. There are other issues in the world. Like the Biebs and the racist basketball guy and his love muffin V.

Geena, I knew there was a reason I liked you.

Haha 7, if all you know is 50 shades, you are sorely misinformed. 50 shades is a disgusting book about what amounts to nothing more than an abusive relationship and it's been fantasized into some great romance. A true D/s relationship is treated with the utmost respect and care. As a member of the D/s community, I am here to answer all of your questions.

There are some who prefer to give pain (sadists), some who prefer to recieve (masochists), and thise who switch (sadomasochists/switches). Apparetly Jeff is a sadist.

@Brea, 50 Shades of Meh is a horrible pile of tripe. I had to read it for an article I was writing and while I thought I was going to dread it, I found absurdly comical! The number of times the main character looks up under her eyes or bites her lip, I was LOL'ing through the whole thing.

This, however, is a very good read.

Jeff Goldblum is too douchetastic for me to view. Silverado is the only movie he has been in that I can stand to sit through. I did watch Independence Day once in the theater, and that just galvanized my feelings.

JohnnySalander said...

The reason the main character had K Stew's mannerisms is because it was written as a Twilight fanfic...with BDSM instead of vampires.

Violet said...

7 - that IS a good read. 'Hoo hop naughty place' had me laughing into my tea.

JSierra said...

Jenny Trout also gives a hilarious chapter by chapter summary. I never read the books and just read her summaries instead, absolutely hilarious, I felt like I read the books and didn't have to subject myself to actually reading that cringe worthy attempt at sexy. Not to mention, I didn't buy the book and didn't contribute to that epic cunt E.L James's wallet.

You think that's going to be on the tour?

I feel sorry for the mass swathes of the general public who think its romantic. Blech. I read the first one and heard they were bringing the supernatural into it and couldn't force myself any further.

I have a group of friends who read this tripe and freaked out over who they chose as Ana and Christian. My argument that no one but K Stew and Rob P can fill those roles met with rolling eyes and sighs of displeasure because they know I haven't read the books. Thanks to 7's link I don't have to...and affirmed that indeed the underlying plot is that love is supposed to conquer all...including a kinky side that likes control and dominance.

I don't see how any woman cld help laughing at/with him, he is just naturally funny.

This must be Laura dern,,,she was after geema and geema and him were married, so enty would have said spouse. Also he says since then it's been models, and there has been no long term relationships with near a listers since Laura.

@brea lowe Not necessarily a sadist, but certainly a Dominant or a Top. Many Doms/Tops are not sadists; just as many bottoms are not masochists. :)

@Seven of Eleven, that would be called a "switch", a person who alternates between the dominant and submissive roles. Lots of couples switch, but they tend to have different personality traits than a pure Dominant or a pure submissive.

@derek harvey, I get it. You frown on education. ;)

I am by no means an expert, but I try to help people see that members of our community aren't sick monsters. Most of us are very friendly, respectful people!

Brea Lowe said...

I'm leaning towards sadist because it sounds like he likes to give bruises... although he could identify as just a dominant! Thanks for clarifying :)

I get the whole "between two consenting adults" thing, to each his own, yadda, yadda, yadda. But frankly, I have to wonder about any person that gets pleasure inflicting pain on another, especially a sexual pleasure.
Maybe it's because I've been in abusive relationships, but it goes against my nature to cause someone pain, even if they want it, and it seems to me like a loving relationship is all about kindness and consideration. Hell, I still have massive guilt from every time I've had to hold a small child down so a hospital/doctor could treat them.

I'm not saying that there aren't successful relationships involving b&d/s&m/whatever, but I really don't understand it.

Count Jerkula said...

@Frosty: "Topping from the bottom" Is that what is called a Power Bottom? Is that like a chick who likes to be used and barks out orders how to do it? "Pull my hair! Oh yeah, that's it. Now spank my ass! WTF was that, I said spank it! Harder!" That would be fun.

seven, its like sexality, there are shades of gray.
you can be like to be sub or dom all the time, or some of the time.

most people do seem to have, or develop over time, a strong practice.

it also depends on what the fetish is. for some people the bondage fetish is about the dress up, the latex, the leather, and so they may prefer to switch it up to experience the different modes of dress and accessories.

for others, particularly those with strong preferences for sub or dom, the fetish comes from the power trip or lack there of that comes with bondage.

The item is referring to Laura Dern, not Davis (although she probably was well aware of his proclivities, too). Sigh. I've always loved him, lizardy aspect and all, but I've also known about this stuff for a long time (the fact that he only runs around with young 20-something girls was a big indicator), and yeah, it's disturbing. And icky. And disappointing. Oh well.

Seven of Eleven - I thought that gif of Johnny Depp was Lauren Hutton at first glance (yikes). Also can you imagine if somebody did a mashup of 50 Shades and Black Snake Moan? LORD! That was one hell of a WTF movie. It's like Christina Ricci couldn't get naked fast enough. Lemmie just get this raggedy old black man in a wife beater and sloppy slacks, to take the biggest (and longest) chain you've ever seen and chain this 50 lb white girl (in 1/3 of a shirt and panties) to a radiator. Oh yeah, she's a nympho and he's gotta talk her out of that shit. Quality stuff ladies and gentlemen QUALITY stuff.

@JSierra, how is E.L. James an epic cunt?

I'm not disputing this assessment, I've simply never heard it before.

This blind makes so much sense about Goldblum. I always wondered why he made sure all his girlfriends were under 25. It's just too bad he can't receive it like he likes to give it.
