In the aftermath of the Sandy Hook shootings, the Ke$ha song "Die Young" has been pulled from the rotations of many radio stations. Ke$ha took to her Twitter to apologize for her song and another Tweet that said she totally understands why radio stations don't want to play the song and then she said something truly bizarre. She said she was forced to sing the lyrics and didn't want to and objected to them. I understand her saying that if someone came up to her and said we bought this song and you have to sing it, but Ke$ha is a co-writer of the song and not just in name or as a record company favor, but as an actual participant in the writing of the song. This may be why she later deleted the Tweet that said, "I understand. I had my very own issue with 'die young' for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO." Guess she remembered that it was her idea for those lyrics.
