Lady GaGa Is Too Lazy To Flush A Toilet
Lady GaGa has gone from A+ celebrity to A- and is in danger of dropping even lower and that is just in the space from one album to the next. Usually you wouldn't see that kind of drop from someone who is in the public eye so much. GaGa is experiencing the kind of drop a one hit wonder gets. Look at Carly Rae Jepsen. She was everywhere for one minute and now you can't find her. She could actually use a good lawsuit to jack back up her fame so people don't completely forget her.
Until Gaga settles this suit with her ex-assistant we are going to continue to hate GaGa more and more. Most of us don't walk around saying things like, "I'm only 115 pounds so I can't lift my luggage or unpack it." She left it to her slightly bigger assistant to do it.
Some other choice GaGa quotes from the pleadings on file. These are GaGa provided pleadings and not from the assistant.

If GaGa would just write a check for $500K this woman would go away. It's costing GaGa a lot more than that in people who are turning against her and won't support her any longer. The other reason she should settle is that if she loses she is going to have to pay her next assistant and all her other employees overtime. If she settles she probably won't.

I am not a Gaga fan (everything after Alejandro is shit) BUT (and this is a big but) I gotta say, anyone who works as a personal assistant for a drug-using narcissist whose entire career is based on "shock value" is going to be miserable. Be a PA for a person who wakes up, works out, goes to work, does interviews sober, and has a future and a stable mind. There are those kind of people. I'm going to give Gaga a pass on this one. If she's difficult, that's because it is part of her job to be all "rebellious" 'n shit.

I still dont this woman's claim to fame, but if you're an assistant, that grunt work is your job. You can think one of two things: shes paying me $50 an hour to flush her toilet? Sweet! Or: flush your toilet? Load your vcr? Im outta here, its not worth it. You dont stay and then sue.

@Brenda, I also agree with you. Gaga was indeed a fad, and her trendsetter audience has already moved on. Despite the whole hip-and-wheelchair act, she doesn't have the pathos that keeps people attached to Britney, or the admiration mixed with contempt that keeps them watching Madonna.

its not just about whether or not grunt work was her job. it is about her not being paid for overtime and for having no days off. these seem to be serious labor law violations. gaga can't not give her those because she doesn't think she deserves them.
gaga thinks she's madonna - ie has staying power and is untouchable. but madonna had staying power because she knew exactly what to show and what not to show and how to manipulate the media.
gaga is making a huge mistake not settling this and being hugely arrogant in her deposition answers. remember paula deen?
