I don't understand how lifelong drug and drink lovas look so good after all these years: Paris and Kate Moss come to mind. It seems to finally have caught up to Kate Moss, but still. This phenomena is amazing. Do they just have really great hair/makeup people on staff?

Addicts are rendered powerless against this disease. Paris was merely antagonizing him in his disease. He needs to know that no one, including himself, could stop it without first admitting powerlessness to the disease. Rooting for Nick, love him!!
Paris didn't do this to Nick...Nick did this to himself. He could have always said No and walked away. He chose to stay and party.

I am someone who ACTUALLY READ his book. He doesn't skewer her. And he didn't make excuses for himself and blame her.
In fact, very little Entu says here was in the book. He talked more about their different lifestyles, etc. than drugs

As to why anyone would date Paris Hilton: I 2007 I met Paris Hilton at a charity event that Andre Agassi used to have every year in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. When I say I met, it was little more than she walked up to the table I was at and was introduced to me. I'd never thought much of Ms. Hilton, viewing her as the template for rich, dissipated, talentless people who are famous for being famous. But I have to tell you, in person, standing right before me, the girl was just radiating glamour and attractiveness. It was like being bathed in some sort of radiation (heh). The point is, however much of a wastrel she is or is not, there is definitely something that she has that attracts men. Of course that all probably goes out the window as soon as she starts to speak, but I could see why someone would lose their minds and nail the herpes-ridden little slut.
