If you have been wondering what has been holding up some new music from this former A list tweener who used to release albums as frequently as she released really bad television movies featuring her character it is because she and her sister are not getting along. It isn't like MV exactly but lets just say the sister helps out a lot with the vocals for the records.

I prefer Lindsay Lohans music. Rumors was a pretty good tune back in the day (in a guilty pleasure sorta way) and so was over and her cover of Stevie Nicks at the edge of seventeen *ducks*
Jessica Simpson has a good voice. I was shocked.
I remember Hillary singing on an episode of SYTYCD. She was so stiff and uncomfortable that I thought she had stagefright.
What about Britney and Jamie Lynn as the tweener? She just released a new single, and her Zoey character was all over the place back in the day. They are also in the daily mail. I always lurk here, but have never posted. What does MV mean?

Speaking of MV I saw JLo doing her best to sing Celia Cruz on Sunday night and I dint think shes MV anymore. She wasn't good but she was passable. So that leaves Britney.
MV is an A+ singer that doesn't really sing her songs alá Milli Vannilli. I think it's Brit Brit by the way.
@Rachel, MV is an A-list singer who actually doesn't sing her hit songs, someone else does. It's Enty's biggest blind yet unresolved. The popular opinion is that JLo is MV. (MV is a nickname based on the initials for Milli Vanilli).
Cleodacat, MV isn't Britney: it's been argued she sang her own songs on MM Club as a child and her voice is distinct.

Did Enty reveal Coke Mom? I thought that was the last big blind, besides MV.
Hayley and Hilary did a song together, and also Hilary really only did her actual feature film, right? The movie is also considered...not bad. Hilary did Cadet Kelly and one with her sister (where the song they did comes from) but not as Lizzie McGuire.
Does any tweener have a character that did made-for-tv movies with a character, whether the character was originally on a tv show or not?
As for MV, the timeline points to J.Lo. If the singer was approached post-1998, it can't be Britney, or Britney had another singer do her first album/sang it herself.
J.Lo and Britney have voices/voice doubles that sound like them, though I do think J.Lo's singing voice matches her speaking voice better. I also think J.Lo wasn't live during that Celia tribute.
@Tara that is hard to tell because a lot of times the mic was right up against her jaw but she did pull it away also.

@Tara, Hillary's IMDB is pretty thick with TV movies, both before and after Material Girls.
J Lo herself said she got the job on Selena because she is an excellent lip syncher. This was before she was putting out albums. Probably put a great idea in her little head.

I thought the same thing. Her singing voice sounded too much like her talking voice to be someone else.
I don't think it's Hilary because her singing voice is so similar to her speaking voice.

Looking at Hillary's IMDB, I only see 1 Lizzy McGuire movie.
The clue about tv movies/her character fits The Tiz better than anyone. But I'm guessing Duffsters.
