RIP. He played sleazy characters really well. I remember he was Beth Raines' father on The Guiding Light and that character was as slimy as you can get on tv.

We need a gif of Carrie doing a big, ugly cry.

RIP Mr. Rebhorn, you will be missed

I remember him from Law and Order. The man fought cancer for over 20 years. That will make a person look old. T. W.

I remember him from As The World Turns also, Sandy. But I thought he was Beth's stepfather!

No he was Bradley Raines and he was always looking at young Beth like he was gonna molest her Surfer. Poor Mrs. Raines was kinda beat down dealing with him too.

You're right Sandy. He was super slimy.

Wonder what the cause of death was

I finally found out his name. Twenty years of fighting with cancer. Just wow. Every day, though, they are discovering more and more. There seems to be a boom of knowledge the last few years, as if all the fund-raising is finally coming to something.

That story line with Beth was way ahead of times. You simply did not discuss things like that back then. Ah well, I miss GL & ATWT. RIP to the ultra talented Mr. James Rebhorn.

Rest in peace my friend, good journey.

He was a longtime favorite of mine. He always brought a sense of simple truthfulness to every role he played. I'll always remember him with great fondness playing Harrison "Stormy" Storms in the second episode of Tom Hanks' HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon," and as the heroes' boss, Special Agent Reese Hughes, in the USA Network's "White Collar."

He will be missed.

CocoaBeachBunny: That's not the first thing I saw him or remembered him from, but it's probably my favorite role of his.

So sad. I had no idea he battled melanoma for so long.

God Speed.

Because on the show, his character was a rapist. He also raped Holden's wife Angel on ATWT. He made a great bad guy.

I always remembered him as Henry Lange from ATWT-oh he was such a creep! So I guess that means he was a great actor. RIP

Bradley Raines and Henry Lange were two of the worst characters ever, because James Rebhorn played them so well...RIP.
