Burglar Arrested At Sandra Bullock's House While She Was Home

Early yesterday morning a man was arrested by police on the property of Sandra Bullock. He told police that he was checking out the house. Sandra was home at the time of the arrest. The man was doing this at 6:30 a.m. so he is a pretty stupid burglar to be breaking in at that time of the morning so I'm wondering if he might be a stalker, rather than a burglar. Police took him into custody and booked him a little after 9 yesterday morning.

Cute pic of Sandy. Glad they got the guy.

or maybe he was a kidnapper out for the boy and ransom? If we are playing multiple choice supply all the answers Enty.
This should be a wake up call for her in any case. Tighten up your security.

you're Doing It Wrong! Part 2 ;)
You're security sucks, when some yabbo can enter at will.
I understand Diddy has an unhappy security man...

I think he's a stalker.

Nothing bad happened, thankfully. This story could have been a whole lot worse.
The only one to blame here is the creepy guy. He got caught, so her security is doing its job.

The guy sounds like a stalker to me. I would say her security is adequate. There was no mention of him actually entering the home. Therefore security cameras and/or motion sensors may have picked him up.

Shy of a crocodile filled moat, claymore mines, and remote SAW 240s with interlocking fields of fire, no place can keep out a determined enough individual if they don't care/fear getting caught. That's why the lunatic with a death wish is the Secret Services biggest fear, usually.

This is why I would never want to be famous. I like my privacy and to be off the radar of creepy stalkers.

I think it goes to show that most security systems can be breached. But what happens when someone figures hey I can break a window and get to them before the police get to me. Scary indeed.

If she was at her house here in NOLA... hell, a burglar breaking in at 6:30a is just another day... The youths of the city like to warm up with crime-lite during the day before moving on to their gang deals and shootings later in the evening.

Would anyone tech-savvy have any idea why, when I signed out of my Google/Blogger account the other day and signed back in, it replaced my Trilby/cat photo/profile with my original Blogger account/photo/profile, Trilby/Joshua Tree. Two totally diff accounts, as the J.Tree photo one was from when I first joined Blogger to comment on my fave blog (this one is my second-fave!! Love it!! :). I suck at technology, but am really curious as to why the original account came back up when I signed back in. I've tried signing back out/in, but can only get this account (w/ a puny number of views) to come back up. (Leo ego, *sigh*). WTF??!!!

I agree, I live in a piss poor town in KY and I've been robbed twice in the last year. Once in the middle of the night and once early in the a.m. while I was home, it's really scary how brazen they are. What pissed me off most were the cops who wouldn't take a report and told me to get better locks.

Amen to that. People are crazier than ever these days. And not in a good, creative way, either. Just batsh*t crazy.

@trilbyI don't know how celebs do it knowing that some of their fans are loonies.

You might want to add something steamy to your comment to get Count on it more quickly!

I read somewhere (don't recall where, still on first cuppa!) that the cops said the guy had a journal all about Sandy....anyone else read that?

Scary shit!

Angela - I recommend Mossberg pistol grip shotgun.

Unclick the "remember me" box and see if that changes things. Good luck!

Where's Captain America when you need him?

I have a shotgun, but at the time I kept it put up, by the time I remembered it, it was all over lol!

Well that's unnerving.

Thanks, everyone! Gonna try the clicky-box suggestion! Snootches, that's how I KNOW I'm getting old - in my younger years, enticing and outrageous words would have popped into my mind immediately... I was told alot that my filthy mind and semi-outrageous mouth coupled with my sweet demeanor and soft-spoken voice were an enticing combination. Now I'm just old and tired. LOL!!!

It ain't easy being naughty! You'll get your groove back Trilby, I have faith!

By arresting him for attempted burglary, they got him locked down immediately, giving them time to investigate a stalker angle, maybe?
Hell, maybe he would serve more time on the burglary then the stalking..I don't know.

Ick.This is too close to home for me to be reading this morning. We got broken into this weekend. We interrupted them and they bailed but not before they went through all our stuff, took the sheets off my kids beds, went through all my clothes and makeup and our refrigerators (weirdos)

It's a really violating thing to have someone in your home.I feel for celebrities that have this happen a lot.I'd never really thought about it much til now.
