Random Photos Part Five

Napoleon Dynamite had their 10th anniversary reunion so that gets the top spot.

Chaz Bono worked up a sweat during acting class.
Courteney Cox and her soon to be husband walking around.
Clint Eastwood looks good in a suit at the premiere of Jersey Boys.
Also there were Alan Cumming and Tony Award winner Lena Hall.
Christopher Walken was also there but did no dancing or Lady GaGa lyric reading or pushing anyone overboard a yacht.
Diane Kruger has been really visible the past few days which is unlike her.
Jerry Sienfeld and David Letterman smile at an event last night.
Angelina Jolie always smiles bigger when she is talking women's rights rather than movies.

Why would you wear that, Diane Kruger??? Why would ANYONE?? Did you lose a bet?

Clint Eastwood does look great!

Jessi said...

Diane's show is starting up again in a few weeks. This is why she is everywhere! Come on Enty you know how HW works!

Clint looks fantastic!

Kelly said...

And her hair!

Violet said...

Alan Cumming - he's fab.
Chaz - looks the best he's ever looked.
Dianne - that 'divorce' will be any day soon given the amount she's seen alone these days.

timebob said...

The Bridge season 2 starts June 24, I tried to like it but I don't.

Unknown said...

I'd do Clint, again.

discoflux said...

Holy crap! A Diane Kruger fashion fail?!?! And a SEVERE one at that!

Ugh.. i wish Angelina Jolie's giant noggin would just snap her neck already.

Gayeld said...

She's taking the secret break-up of her secret marriage secretly badly.

Shelly Shell said...

Doesn't look like Diana showered, but how much you wanna bet those ugly clothes cost more than most people make in a week if not month with the shoes.

Snootches said...

I'd be willing to bet her suit is a size 0 and she's still swimming in it!

Sherry said...

I loves me some Christopher Walken. One celeb I would really like to meet and talk to. And Clint does look good but not liking the beard.

BaronessOrczy said...

Courtney's ruining her face.

sandybrook said...

Diane has been out alone a lot lately too. Announcement time?
Thankfully I never bothered with Napolean Dynamite. Dolemite from the 70s yes, this no.

Anothergrayhare said...

low blow on Walken, no?

loopymommy said...

There's no way Walken did the pushing. Watch "A Kiss before Dying."

NaughtyNurse said...

Man, alive! Courtney has really f-ed up her face!!

Hammer_Girl said...

Never watched Napolean Dynamite, nor do I want to.

FFS what is with all the Jerry Seinfeld crap? It's like Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!

audrey said...

My daughter was 14 and made me watch Napoleon Dynamite several times. I didn't get it. It was a horrible movie with really bad acting.

hairydawg said...

Is Uncle Rico in that reunion photo?
Surprised the popularity of that movie didn't launch more careers.

Chaz still has lady parts, no?

Frufra said...

Napoleon Dynamite is pure greatness, people! Get with the program! I've watched it with my kids like 500 times, and it never gets old or stops being funny.

Enty totally burned Walken there, eh? An implied murder burn is third degree, dude.

Frufra said...

Also, Chaz looks fantastic. I'm very happy for him.

TalksTooMuch said...

And that sweater, you guys? ??

Gayeld: I secretly feel bad for her

Just Another HR Lady said...

Are you being sarcastic Enty? Diane Kruger is queen of the pap photo setup. Her BFF calls them.

Frufra said...

@harry - I'm not seeing Uncle Rico or Kip - but who's the taller guy in the back right with a beard? Can't be Kip, can it? He was really short, IIRC.

Krystie Rachelle said...

I wondered where uncle Rico was too! I mean if the big stars like Haylie Duff show up, then surely uncle Rico can bring some steak by.

hairydawg said...

Yea! Where the hell is Kip? The best characters aren't even there!

Krystie Rachelle said...

I think the guy with the beard is the director.

Frufra said...

@hairy - Kip's probably on line, chatting with babes.

crila16 said...

Wait...am I behind on Diane and Josh? What did I miss?

LottaColada said...

I'm just happy Lafawnduh showed up.

Krystie Rachelle said...

+1000000000000000

Sugar said...

She hasn't even sent him a full body shot yet!

Topper Madison said...

@anothergrayhare Not just a low blow, but tasteless, inappropriate, and not funny.

Just Another HR Lady said...

@crila16....there was a BI this week about a couple who were secretly married, who are now breaking up. Most people think it's them.

Tigercat said...

"Napoleon! You know we can't afford the fun pack." - Uncle Rico

SugarTitz said...

I think that's what you call a slotting fee?? Doesn't matter how ugly just take the check call the paps and look bored. Got it!!!

Frufra said...

Does my heart good to see so many Napoleon fans here in CDaN land. Now go make yourself a dang quesadilla!

SugarTitz said...

Thank gawd! ! I never got the hype either. I thought it was just me. Whew.

Just Another HR Lady said...

I wish someone would pay me to wear an ugly sweater and walk down the street in front of paps. I'd be there in a heartbeat!

Sugar said...

Do the chickens have large talons?

SugarTitz said...

Aaron Rodgers

LottaColada said...

@Frufra- Tina, eat your food!

Frufra said...

@Sugar - that lunch they're served at the chicken farm is among the 3 grossest things I've ever seen on film. OK, maybe among the 5 grossest things I've seen on film, but still - that pitcher of eggs!!!!

Sugar said...

I like your sleeves... they're real big.

Frufra said...

Hey Lotta, what are you gonna do today?

Sherry said...

I adore Napoleon Dynamite as well. I can watch that over and over again. The bad acting was half the charm. Tina eat your food...I am dying here.

"What are you doing today Napoleon? Anything I want to GOSH!"

Krystie Rachelle said...

I always tell my friends that glamour shots by deb are now 75% off for a limited time. The good ones respond by asking if I have a vest or tiny seahorses.

LottaColada said...

Whatever I feel like I wanna do, gosh!

Frufra said...

@Sugar - Thanks. I made them myself.

Frufra said...

Krystie - can you wrap me in foam, or something billowy?

Sugar said...

It took me, like, 3 hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.

Napoleon Dynamite is pure gold.

Frufra said...

My fellow Napoleon-lovers: the first time you watched the movie, didn't you just about die from sheer joy when Napoleon did his dance at the study body elections? I knew right then that this was one of my favorites of all time.

Frufra said...

And we haven't even discussed the greatness that is Rex-kwando! No more flying solo!

Sugar said...

Bow to your sensei. BOW TO YOUR SENSEI!

Krystie Rachelle said...

That dance, there aren't even words. The hands in the pocket rocking back and forth. Pure gold. That movie was genius.

Krystie Rachelle said...

Frufra, make a fist and slowly ease it under your chin.

TalksTooMuch said...

I haven't seen it either, Hammer. I think you, me, sandy sugarbread and audrey need to form a nondenominational prayer circle

Krystie Rachelle said...

Let's be real, don't we all spend our summers hunting wolverines and taking our bikes off sweet jumps?

Meghan said...

Where's Uncle Rico?????

Yeah, she left a bunch of crap on my porch...

It's been too long since I've watched it - i can't believe it's been ten years since it came out... I feel old...

Tillie said...

I loved when Napoleon and Deb played tetherball at the end of the movie!

Sugar said...

I took a 10 year old to see it when it first came out and we both wandered out of the movie theater wondering what we just saw. We were sort of confused but we liked it. Then I watched it again (and again and again and again) and the full glory of it shone through like a beacon in the dark.

Unknown said...

Napoleon! Eating tater tots and drawing ligers.... As for Diane K? Personally I think she must be on her way to a Campfire Girls meeting. Isn't that flame on the front of her sweater their logo? Maybe she's a scout leader for a niece. As for the strappy white shoes with the ill fitting leather pants. I have no explanation for that mess.

Candyland said...

Hi guys! Jumping back on after doing some work...

For the record (you can all shoot me now), I never got the Napolon Dynamite hype. Tried watching it several times. Sorry y'all!

Just sent in my reader photo ;) First person to guess it's me when Enty posts it gets a Chicago Deep Dish pizza from Lou Malnati's! Let's shake it up this go-around! Then you'll have another visual of Candyland without the pumpkin butt.

Hammer_Girl said...

I'm like holy cheeze whiz over here, am I the only one?
Sorry CDaN peeps, I just can't do comedy or the mushy stuff. I think the closet I've ever came to a comedy was Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

TalksTooMuch said...

Woot for reader photo,Candyland!! Yay!

Also, join the prayer circle, we're gonna have nuts and beer!

Hammer_Girl said...

Shall we start singing "The island of misfit toys"?

Sugar said...

Yay, Candyland! How will we know without any sort of clue to go on? I'm just going to guess every girl is you then until I get my pizza.

Candyland said...

Sugar, you can't do that! We'll make a rule that you can only guess me three times total or you're disqualified ;) I'll keep track.

TTM- what's this about a prayer circle? Tell me more!

Sugar said...

I play by my own rules, man.

Candyland said...

Other clue for today's viewers/posters only...I'm 43.

Candyland said...

And, that's why we love you Sugar!

Lo Key says stop with the censorship already! said...

Tucker and Dale vs Evil was freaking awesome!!!

La Minette Grincheuse said...

OK, so did I miss the comment thread where everyone discussed JLo and her AWFUL "singing" on Fallon? Hard evidence to me that she is MV.

TalksTooMuch said...

It's a prayer circle for those of us who haven't watched Napoleon Dynamite, or that have seen it and didn't dig it. We're going out for beers!

rajahcat said...

I see what you're doing there enty

so do you have some scoop on the Natalie Wood thing then?

Hammer_Girl said...

And then TTM and I will kidnap a few hot guys;)

Candyland said...

Got it, TTM. I think I'm a little too far for that! :(

Anonymous said...

I don't think the Walken crack was too far, the guy's been helping covering up and stonewalling cops in her death for decades. While her family still suffers. He deserves the jabs he gets. Although I've always been staunchly in the Wagner's responsible camp. So better to make it Walken hasn't been cleaning fingerprints, rigging dingy's, or stashing evidence on yachts.

Meanie Rhysie said...

Is there an anti-Napoleon Dynamite club??? Count me in!

sandybrook said...

Yea there's at least 6 of us now. Three more and we have a baseball team. Ill pitch.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Didn't like Napoleon Dynamite either. First time my brother ever gave me a look of astonishment... until Ricky Bobby. Yuck!

Steampunk Jazz said...

Hey late crew:-) :-) :-)

Hammer_Girl said...

Hello lovie :-)

Hammer_Girl said...

I'm calling dibs on ball catcher!

Sherry said...

I am loving all the lines from the movie. We own it and definitely a fave up at Blanc Debris. I can totally understand how it doesn't appeal to everyone. I just love odd and quirky.

sandybrook said...

Hey steamy

Candyland said...

We need a name for the Anti-Napoleon Dynamite club, may I suggest the Seventh Coalition Combustibles? The Seventh Coalition defeated Napoleon - and I just added "combustibles" to counter the "dynamite."

sandybrook said...

Sounds good Candyland

Long time lurker, sent my photo in, too. Hope to see it with the other lovely readers!

iiii love technology... Always and foreverrrrrr

Anonymous said...

Meh, she's European

Sherry said...

Indeed I did but it didn't resonate like ND.

Krystie Rachelle said...

I think I really dig ND, because they made it while they were at BYU. Living in a small rural town (with a large Mormon population) the quirks were all too familiar. We lived in a town a lot like that when I was younger, right down to the tether ball, and "gosh". The social awkwardness is spot on too. Shit gets weird around here.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Just remember to fess up, lol.

TalksTooMuch said...

I'll play my favourite: third base!

TalksTooMuch said...

Hey Steamy!

Steampunk Jazz said...

Whatcha doin ttm? 3rd base, the hot corner? I thought you'd be in the field with me in our lawnchairs. Drinking mojitos and hooting insults based on Our favorite movie's best lines..:(
BTW, what is our much superior ,funny yet esoteric, quotable flick?

OT: BLINDGOSSIP website, I've been trying to look arbor and it says "site not found". Anyone been there recently? Notice that message? What is going on?!

Runswithscissors said...

Oh my god! David letterman just asked and kept pressing Laura prepon about her being married to Tom cruise! He asked where did the gossip come from? He told her "good luck on your marriage with Tom cruise"! I didn't think David letterman engaged in Scientology beard gossip!

@northbynorthwest I found the comment intriguing. I think Wagner has been thought of as the culprit since forever. To hint that it was really Walken sheds a whole new light on things.

Aw, I lurve ND! I hated it at first and thought it was stupid until the very last scene. I watched it again and got it. But I completely understand how some people just can't even. It's not like it's highbrow comedy or something. I guess it's like sauerkraut-you love it or hate it or acquire a taste for it. Been lurkin' long time, btw. Super late getting in on comments.
