Not technically a beard, but this foreign born A list mostly television actor does have a movie in the awards season talking and his boss didn't want him going solo to every event hence the girlfriend. The whole engagement thing was poorly planned though because there was no backstory planned or even how the proposal occurred.

was there talk he was gay then? Because until he got engaged and his fans went insane I'd never even heard that he might be. I'll put this story down to over active fangirls imaginations.
Also - why the engagement? Surely having a steady girlfriend would suffice?
Is this now a click bait site like Celebitchy? They can't stop going this damn engagement over and over again. Harvey Weinstein has some of the experienced and powerful Pr people there are. He even hired someone who worked for obama. And they can't come up with a fake engagement story? Don't take submissions from the Cumhards please.

God I know, you should read the sh*t on Tumblr. Some are trying blow the lid off this conspiracy. One actually stated she had a letter from her psychiatrist that states she's a well adjusted person. I hope they marry asap, just so I can see heads explode. And these definitely not girls, their definitely grown women, like the one at tiff that wanted to taste his yumminess.
He already said he experimented because everyone did at his school. He decided it was not for him.
I'm not one of those cumberbanshees but he seems to be grounded and confident and a fake engagement would be a waste of energy and unnecessary.

There's nothing all that bad about a fake engagement, everyone in Hollywood does it sooner or later when they are up and coming stars. And this reeks of fake and they look about as happy together in photographs and videos, as two lobsters that are about to be boiled. Best part is they blame Enty for telling the truth. Right. This site had blind items about Cumberbatch since well before it went "viral" so to speak, so your attempt doesn't work. Go back to your Cumberbatch sanctuary and go worship his photos... in the real world people know better than to see a real engagement when there's absolutely nothing backing it up, and in fact everything denies it.
if anyone else than harvey weinstein was doing his oscar campaign, i would believe that the engagement is real. hovewer TWC has long history of pushing boundaries when it comes to nominations and awards, so i'm not buying it. poor guy doesnpt understand yet what he's gotten himself into...

Listen I'm a Cumberbatch fan but not one of the nutters. I wouldn't have ever thought there was something off about this engagement thing if it weren't for the fact the man has been acting the opposite of how he's acted in the past as soon as it was announced. Also, he and his fiancee seem to hate one another if you see them interact on the red carpet. You don't have to be a raving nutter to see something's not right here, do you? (Not to mention they dated for a few months when he was working most of the time.)

Benedict has always been a very private guy, so of course there is no engagement story! He would never tell it!
Care to explain? I don't care to follow Timberlake and Biel, but there was a tantrum and some handslapping from this Hunter lady on the red carpet, and the man shows 10x more affection to his Imitation Game costars than to her within seconds of one another. The comparison is amazing.
Definitely a showman. This very affectionate man (with both past girlfriends) can't even look at her. He is one who likes to show off his friends and girlfriends - but not this one. His personality has lost its glimmer. It's fake. I don't care if he gets married, either way, but this relationship sticks out as a sore thumb to me.
