Oh deah deah deah here we go again. Cumberbatch-Hunter. And JUST in time to offset that nauseating VOGUE article, which makes it so clear that Hunter's motivation for "re-connecting" with Cumberbatch wasn't to "find the right person" but to aggrandize herself, raise her visibility and restart her stalled career, using Cumberbatch in a last-ditch attempt to be Somebody. So interesting observing this pretty puzzle.
Oh and P.S.: has anyone asked Mr. C how his allegedly desperate wish to keep his private life private, is being served by his bride pimping out their relationship, wedding, and upcoming parenthood out to the oh so shallow VOGUE Magazine - making it clear that the aims of Mrs. C are being pushed by the powerful triumvirate of Harvey Weinstein, his BFF Anna Wintour, and Hunter's past umm friendship with Weinstein (whose wife is an English designer)? I suspect that whatever Mr. C. wanted never stood a chance. Hunter really is making a fool of him.
But who is the "ex"? Shawcross? Gambles lives in NY, and the radio gig was almost certainly in the UK.

I totally agree, it is one thing to attend red carpet events and be photographed, a whole other thing to agree to a Vogue photo shoot/article on what appears to be her wedding day, or at least close to her wedding day. Used to never see pap photos of Benedict, now they are everywhere! Side note, he should really be growing out his hair(Sherlock!) but it looks shorter than ever! Damn Yoko!

I guess I'm the only one who's never seen Sherlock, but only the film Cumberbatch, so 'tv actor' seems an odd description. As far as vogue..isn't it just a fancy People now? Designer kneepads, eh?

Well I wouldn't take anything Gambles says as true just because he says it - he knows perfectly well the rumors swirling around these two. But true he's in NY so it's more likely Shawcross unless there was a BF between Shawcross and Cumberbatch which is quite possible, as the Hunger CS rel is years old already. Of course, according to her, so was her rel with Cumberbatch . . . heh heh.

Shawcross was in South London a few hours ago working on a new installation in Dulwich Park. Love his art. Sophie only attaches herself to the truly talented. Gambles was only ever a friend, struggling amateur with his art, much like her.

@Rebecca, I don't think a "wedding" had anything to do with it at all. That dress from Vogue isn't even the same dress from the Isle of Wight pap pics. The Isle of Wight dress was bright white with cap sleeves, no back, and a low cut neck. Not to mention the Vogue article says that it took 3 months to make that dress. They got engaged in November and were married in February - exactly 3 months. So is she saying she flew to Rome or whatever on the day they got engaged to meet with the Valentino people to hunt down that 19th century loom and start putting that dress together in half the time it normally takes? And don't even start on her saying they've known each other for 17 years, which means they'd have to have met while they were attending two completely different universities that are quite far away from one another. That whole article was so full of PR-related BS meant only to make her appear to be somebody that it was disgusting.
It's not only that. Did you read the blind? It claims that the wife had coffee with an Ex. What it's trying to allude is that it wasn't only coffee that was happening. A celebrity's wife having coffee with someone else? No big deal, you're right. A celebrity's wife having coffee with an Ex? Usually not a big deal. Add the "awfully chummy" then that simply having coffee begins to allude that she is cheating.
So far what we've seen is that for every fluff piece SH's PR releases, someone from BC's PR, or someone BC knows, seems to release blinds that are set up to paint a picture against SH.
Enty knows they've struck gold by simply alluding to Benedict (or at least accepting tips about him). Benedict's fans range from skeptics, to hardcore fans, to casual fans. (Course the weirdness has had me give Sophie and Benedict some side eye, even if I have a generally more slightly positive view on Sophie's acting and singing skills).
As for whether true or not, this is all Benedict's PR's (or those close to Benedict) work to undermine Sophie's PR (they seem to come out when some really fluffy Sophie articles are released). Some of the blinds have been so out there that all fans were very much WTF at them (and seemed to do more damage in the long run).
