Everyone mentioned in all the guesses are still in the closet that's why I wasn't thinking gay because they are openly dating whoever they are.

I think "not-so-secretly" implies that it should theoretically be a secret (since they're NOT openly gay) but they aren't exactly putting a lot of effort into the cover-up. JMO.
