This A list singer who unfortunately happens to be an A list actor despite his lack of talent was offered a huge A++ list kind of role but he would have to take some acting lessons with a coach. It would have been in private with no one knowing but our singer/actor refused so the part went to someone else.

I still think he could have been a regular on SNL. He hits it on the mark every time he has been on SNL or Fallon.

I'm not a Timberlake fan, but maybe he did not take it because he didn't want it or maybe because he had a new baby. It implies it's because of the coaching but who knows? I agree that his movies haven't been hits so why bother with him

Maybe something in the Jersey Boys with Clint Eastwood directing.
That one might have worked for him. I haven't seen him in any movies so I have no opinion on his acting. I saw him sing a few tunes a couple years ago and liked them very much.
To clarify, I'm referring to your suggestion of Jersey Boys.

Too big a role to F*** Up---good decision not to attempt that role-people would've laughed at him rather than with him.
