My $.02. Even though I stand for my own reasons, I don't mind people having a different belief and not standing. I really feel like it's too Kim Jong-un if they can't and I will not go there. I STAND and that's enough for me.

...Like Gabby Douglas, who was basically given her spot on the team at the expense of another deserving gymnast, then went on to say she's going for 2020. Retire already & someone else a chance, your time in the sun is over.
Not, perhaps, as popular as she would be if she were blonde and a little less bootylicious, but she's the second most recognized athlete in the world (after Lebron James) and has major sponsorship deals with Nike, Gatorade, and JP Morgan/Chase, among others.

You do realize Gabrielle Douglas placed third in All Around Qualifications during Day 1 of the Olympic Team Event, right? Had there not been a 2 per country rule she would have competed in the All Around and possibly have earned a Bronze.
I stand and put my hand over my heart and sing, but I like to sing. And put in harmonies when I can. But, I totally agree with you here, Whywhywhy??? There are much more important ways to show patriotism than putting one's hand over heart during the National Anthem.
if it is Biles' ADHD meds, the whole thing is just stupid. Almost all ADHD meds are forms of Adderall or Ritalin and basically speed. When you give them to a person with ADHD, it slows them down, not speeds them up. If a gymnast without ADHD took a stimulant, it would be detrimental - a faster metabolism won't help a gymnast, they need strength and concentration.
