In 2017, I am going to stop referring to it as that franchise because, really, no one has done much since. Anyway, the lead actress in the franchise was whacked out on something that gave her a power/rudeness trip at a restaurant. Really, the waitstaff held back by not doing something to her food.

Dumb to give any waiter a reason to drop a lung cookie in your food.
If a waiter does something to the food, the chef will inmediately kill him/her, at least in Europe.
It can happen in a burger/falafel/some other shitty food restaurant because the chef and the waiter is the same person, but not in a restaurant where everything done to a dish can be noticed and the chef is going to suffer the wrath of the pissed off customer.

Considering that pretty much all of Kristen Stewart's family is "crew", and she has a reputation for consistently being nice to and respectful of "the little people", I highly doubt that there's any truth to this rumor.
