Alexia's Ex Husband - Convicted Drug Dealer & Registered Sex Offender
Have you watched the Real Housewives of Miami? Everything seems so tame and boring after Beverly Hills. Plus, I thought the drag queen was going to be on all the time. Not so. Anyway, one of the stars of the show is Alexia Echevarria. It seems that Alexia's ex-husband is a convicted drug dealer, smuggler and a registered sex offender. That is quite the combination. He is also the father of Alexia's two sons.
He told The Enquirer that the two did drugs together all the time back in the 80's. He also says she sees him all the time still. Oh, and that sexual assault and battery of a minor that he was sentenced to 12 years in jail for? "It was a one-night stand. Her parents had me arrested," he explained. "Things happen." Uh huh. So, a guy who shows no remorse at all for sexual assault and battery somehow gets out of jail after only serving a tiny fraction of his sentence. What parole board let this guy out of jail? It seems to me that if he had the opportunity he would do it all over again. And Alexia still sees him all the time?!?

I think the article said the underage girl had ID (false) showing her to be of age. Didn't make him innocent but it does mitigate by showing lack of criminal intent.
Would you really get sentenced to 12 years for that? I'm skeptical.
"sees him" probably means for visitation of their 2 children...dropping off or picking up. The creep is making it sound like it's more.

How is it that very few women on these "Housewives" shows are actually housewives? Was it meant to be cheeky from the beginning?

I watched several of the other so-called housewife shows, but I'm sitting this one out. These women are bland and boring. They can't even make facial expressions, either from the Botox or the troweled-on makeup, or maybe from the lack of consciousness and awareness. I'm officially boycotting the Miami housewives --
