Jason Segel & Michelle Williams Dating
In some couple news that seems kind of odd, Michelle Williams and Jason Segel are dating. I just do not see the combination. I saw Michelle with Spike Jonze. They seemed like a good fit. Quirky, kind of take themselves too seriously while they discuss important subjects that make them feel good about themselves. I kind of like Michelle Williams more now that she is dating Jason Segel. Lets face it. He does not have the looks or body of Heath Ledger but it shows that humor can work and also that you can put any two people together and somehow you have a chance with someone who is way out of your league if only given that opportunity. I keep thinking that if Malin Akerman would just give us a chance and not keep calling the police everytime I drop by in the middle of the night and stare through her windows that we can have what Michelle and Jason have.

I never thought Heath Ledger was particularly fabulous looking. I don't think Jason Segel is a step-down look-wise.

He tweeted awhile ago something like, "Would you guys be happy for me if I found love?" Then the next day was a report of these two dating.
I think they are absolutely adorable together, but I will always secretly be hoping he gets back together with Linda Cardellini.
Jason probably makes her laugh. He seems like such a great guy and it's probably just what she needs.

I think they're adorable. I've always liked him. He's very endearing. As far as personalities go, I absolutely believe opposites attract. And in the end, it doesn't matter how hot or how famous or how rich someone is...everyone just wants someone who can make them laugh.

One of my exes who I'm still friends with lives in New Orleans. Jason Segel was in town filming a movie back in the spring of 2010 and she and her friends would see him out at the bars at night, and eventually became friendly with him. They are a group of all very attractive women in their late 20's/early 30's and neither he or his crew once tried to hit on them, grope them, rape them or do anything that we've been reading about other actors doing recently. He was apparently very sweet, a lot of fun and always paid for everything, but not in a douchey, "look at me" kind of way.
Despite the fact he put it in Lohan, I have always loved Jason Segel. Also, Michelle cannot be all that square, she's best friends with Busy Phillips who is amazing. I like them together!

They look very cute together and actually seem like normal people (relative to Hollywood, anyway).
I really like this pairing, he always comes off as sweet, funny, kind...more important than looks. But it's not as if he is lacking in the looks department anyways.

I am not a Michelle Williams fan -- she always seems so humorless, and I think she's going to ride the "oh, pity poor me, the love of my life died and left me to raise our precious baby alone" as long as possible, even though they had been broken up for years beforehand. Plus, I don't think she's a good actor. I hated her in Blue Valentine.
Jason Segel, on the other hand, is talented and funny and seems really sweet. I think she's dating up, personally. I felt the same way back when Julia Roberts married Lyle Lovett. Everyone was all, "what does she see in him?" and I was all, "what does he see in her?" Lyle Lovett is the most charming person you will ever meet in your life. He's adorable.
Love Jason Segel! Cute couple, I hope they're both super happy.

Man, I just don't like her. She seems so pretentious over the last few years. And it's so annoying how she uses Heath when ever she wants some attention.
As far as the celebrity factor goes, I don't see how this will work in the long run. She hates the paps and he doesn't seem to mind them. He's always nice and stops and talks with the paps. You can tell he likes the attention.
I just hope this relationship doesn't turn him into a douche. I'd hate if he started being pretentious like her.

To me, Jason Segal IS Nick Andopolis. Man, I wanted him to sing Styx's classic "Lady" to me. Why did Lindsay break up with him?? And would they have gotten back together had the show continued?

I like this pairing, Jason seems like a good, fun, laid back guy. Maybe Michelle needs to come out of her shell a little bit. She seems to living in some kind of fear since she broke up with Heath, like there was a dark cloud stalking her or something.

I like Jason as well though, and dont hate me for this, but do any of ya'll remember Jason's uhhhh, little Jason in Forgetting Sarah Marshall? Uhhhhh.It was 10 shades darker than the rest of his body and soooooo oddly shaped. It really is the first thing I flash to when seeing a pic/watching his tv show. I cant help it! So while Im glad for Michelle for dating such a cool guy like Jason, I'm equally as sorry for her little Michelle being introduced to his little Jason- cause yikes.

Jason looks paired with his personality makes him a hottie! Michelle seems very wise & intuitive. She is definitely an amazing actress. I wish them both success & happiness. They both seem well grounded & focused.
Michelle barely speaks to the press & stopped talking about Heath well before he died. You could tell she tried to keep her relationship together but he was tragically damaged & reckless. She deserves to be happy.

I don't understand - which one of them is dating upward? I'd say Jason is the catch here. I agree fully w/ Texshan - Michelle milks the Heath connection way too much, all the while pretending it's too sacred to talk about. Alluding to it constantly is the same thing, and the little girl act gets so tiring. Jason is super cute and funny and extremely talented - definitely hot. Michelle seems like a 50 year old toddler.

I like Segel a lot, and I think he's good looking! Certainly as good-looking as Ledger was. Plus, he's a man-sized man, not your typical Hollywood hobbit. Hollywood desperately needs more full grown men. Then the actresses could be larger than a size zero.

There is some speculation elsewhere that this is PR, but I don't know about that. I can't imagine she'd bring her kid into that. But they do both have movies premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival next month.
E! News showed video of them that the picture displays and I thought it was kind of awkward and uncomfortable. That could have just been because it was paparazzi video.
