Kaley Cuoco Gets Disengaged

Why is that when you end an engagement, the engagement is off, and not disengaged? Whatever you want to call it, Kaley Cuoco is not engaged anymore and I am not sure that many people even noticed she was engaged. I think I wrote a blind about her engagement. Do you think that jinxed it? She was not engaged very long. It was like four or five months at the most. That is if you count from October until today. The guy she was engaged to was an addiction specialist. Those guys freak me out. I always feel like they are one step away from getting addicted to something themselves. Plus they smoke a lot. Do you watch Big Bang Theory? It sure does seem to be on a lot. I think it is good, but I don't think it is the best show ever but it feels like it has been on forever.

There have been some good episodes lately. The one where Amy got Penny the picture cracked me up.

I don't recall the blind. I hope it wasn't one that makes her look bad. I kind of like her.

I'm glad because I like her and that guy seems creepy as hell.

I tried watching the show and it was the most horrible, inane, drivel I have seen. It was the equivalent of fingernails on the chalkboard. The gay geeky guy and his voice - my god! I wanted to stab myself, it just goes on and on and on til you just can't take it.

I feel the exact same way Princess

I want to know this blind.

Chuck Lorre must of sold his soul to the deveil becuase every show of his is a hit. Not that they're funny, becuase they aren't.

I love the show. But I'm a Jim Parson's fan.

I agree. Nothing Chuck Lorre does is funny to me. In fact, I don't watch anything on CBS.

Kaley is a popular guess for drug using blinds. If she does use (or has), this is not the kind of person to be around. They may be clean today, but can get back into using in a nanosecond.

We never saw the show until it went into reruns on TBS a few months ago. Now we're addicted to it. I like a show that makes being smart look good.

I love the show, and the women "side stories" make the program for me, otherwise it would have lost its luster, imo.

Kaley seems like a nice person and you never hear of anything bad about her.

I watch very little TV and BBT is one of the shows I do watch and look forward to.

I always assumed that Kaley was a closeted lesbian. She dated her costar Johny Galecki who's last public girlfriend was HIS costar Sara Gilbert who we all know has come out as strong gay role model with the talk show stuff. It all seems kinda shady and beardy to me. Very pretty girl and I love the show!

Amy Farrah Fowler getting the tiara was priceless but let's face it... these geeks/nerds get way more sex than real geeks do. But I enjoy some of the shows some of the time. (Hate the theme song and always mute it when it comes on.)

Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock! Haha, I love BBT and never watched it until TBS started playing in all the time.

As for the blind, I got nuthin'. Bazinga!

SusanB said...

@shopgirl - my husband says the same thing about them getting more sex than the average geek - one night he figured out how many women Leonard had been with (we have no life) and compared it to himself at the same age and was very depressed.

Good for her for deciding now rather than 2 years into the marriage.

I wonder if he was her addiction counselor. If so, not a good basis for a relationship.

@SusanB: LOL. Sounds like the no-life you two have is pretty fun to me!

I am sad for her. I hope she is OK. I never watched the show until TBS started running it and now I am hooked.

I really like the show but with 7 main characters now it's become a bit all over the place. It was just about the guys and her. And the thing is Penny is now the least interesting character on it. The other two girls are killing it (in the good way I mean.) They need to bring back Raj's sister. Lord, she was hot!

I hated the show the first time I saw it (back when it started), but I've been watching the repeats. It's surprisingly clever at times. Jim Parsons is great, and I love that the Indian guy is not an absolute caricature.

I got the impression that this show wasn't Chuck Lorre's baby in the same sense that Two and a Half Men (blech) is.

I adore BBT and wish Kaley the best. I love the humor and the Sheldon.

I love the Big Bang Theory! :) I hated it the first time I saw it but it's definitely one of those shoes that you have to watch for a few episodes to understand the characters. I hate Two and a half Men but BBT is one of my faves.

I agree with the poster that said Penny is getting pushed to the background. I love her character and Amy has been a great addition. Bernadette is kind of meh.

I like her but lately have been feeling like something is up with her. She's had MAJOR face bloat and there have been photos of her trashed at events. I think she's going through a bit of a personal crisis.

Myam Bialik (sp?) deserves an Emmy for her reaction to the tiara.

I'm a big fan and agree with others, I'm liking the females better. Amy Farrah Fowler steals every scene.

I love the episodes with Wil Wheaton in them. I also loved the "if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas"

What is the BI about her that everyone is talking about?

I LOVE BBT. It's my favorite show, Grimm a close second. I love Penny's witty comebacks to Sheldon's dry commentary, I watch an episode before I leave for the office.

Penny (knock knock), Penny (knock knock), Penny (knock knock)...

I love this show and I love her in it. Glad she figured it out now before taking the big walk. I don't like that look in his eye. He's got the ultra-smooth yet creepy vibe.

I don't see how this was a blind. I remember watching her on Conan back in October and she was pretty insistent on her ex-fiance being her boyfriend at the time and I think it was the very next day, or at least within a week of that interview, that her engagement was announced. Maybe Enty just posted about it instead of a blind?

As for BBT I really like it. It's not amazing if I miss an episode but I've bought the seasons on DVD and re-watch them from time to time. I think that's the key to Chuck Lorre's shows. They aren't the "Great" tv shows but they are something you can watch and enjoy. I love BSG but honestly the thought of re-watching that keeps me hesitant because it's a show you get involved in. BBT is a show you can watch whenever because you don't really need to pay attention or stay with the show all the way through.

As for Kaley's dis-engagement I'm sure there is a reason and it's probably for the best for both, if not at least one, of them. Plus it means I still have a chance(not at all)

You've got to have the right sense of humor to watch TBBT. I love watching the show because I know if I have had a bad day at work that show makes me laugh. And Amy Farrah Fowler is PRICELESS. Nerds rule.

Been looking through the past blinds, and this is the only one that kind of fits:

I never watched this show until recently, and now I am HOOKED. She is hot in a real, girl next door kind of way.

But Mayim Bialek as Amy and Jim Parsons (of course) as Sheldon are what make the show SOOO very good and witty.

lzahart said...

Going to check out that old blind... thx @xoApril

I never watched until it started syndication bc I hate Chuck Lorre for unleashing his crap shows onto the world (and the awful theme song, seriously awful, hate that band) but I have to admit I really like this show. Not like Breaking Bad or Dexter or Game of Thrones or Homeland but its light and funny and Sheldon is an awesome character and Jim Parsons is a great actor... I want to hang out with him and Amy Farah Fowler. I admit I have a huge inner geek.

But watching the show like I have (reruns out of order) its obvious that something changed with Penny, her face is totally different now than it was at the beginning of the show. She was so cute at first and now she looks... busted. Either way she looks like she has issues... and being engaged/not engaged to an addiction specialist only reinforces that.
