This foreign born B list actor on a huge cable hit show seems like he has the perfect marriage. He says and does all the right things and has a squeaky clean image. He and his C list co-star though have been taking their television romance to a whole new level. She doesn't care that she is married. She thinks it is a great way to release tension and makes their performance seem real.

Clare Danes is in no way C list, and they don't have a romance on the show. The actress who plays his wife is so unknown I don't see how she could be considered C list at all.

I think Morena Baccarin could definitely be called C-list - she has a pretty big following from Firefly/Serenity, which is has a huge cult fanbase (and is awesome - watch it!), and some other tv shows, mostly sci-fi.
second the homeland guesses- the actress who plays his wife has been on other shows and certainly fits the definition of C list if people like the actors on 90210 do... i totally think this is Damian Lewis & his wife on the show
I don't think this has anything to do w Clare Danes, and actually she and Lewis's character do have a romance of sorts on the show, but still, she's pregnant so I can't really see her cheating @ work. Then again she is is not unfamiliar with the whole cheating @ work thing.... ahem I will always be team MLP.

Definitely not Damian Lewis and anyone. His wife would cut his balls off with a dull knife. Really, she's a fiesty little lady. He certainly won't cheat on her if he values his life. He's one of the people who is exactly like his squeaky clean image.

Off topic I suppose, but Damien Lewis is wonderful in the short-lived series Life. I watched all of the shows on Netflix, and while it occasionally needs better writing, the series is interesting.

OT, but I just don't get the fascination with Homeland. Yes I watched it, but it was like until the last two or three episodes (Claire Danes was FABULOUS in those) the first part was SO boring. Can someone shed some light? Or did I just decide I didn't like it and couldn't get it out of my head?
Maybe it was just too over hyped by the time I got it on Netflix?
@Doc Girl, I didn't like Life because it tried to portray Damian Lewis as a sex symbol with women throwing themselves at him all the time. I was like, what? That guy? It was like when the TV gods decided David Caruso was sexy and put him in heartthrob roles where he looked ridiculous.
Andrew Lincoln from Walking Dead and his wife on the show, Sarah Wayne Callies? Can't think of any other foreign borns on a huge hit show.

Morena is definitely C list she was also a star on the short-lived V. But I still don't see this as Damian, he just won an Emmy, he's Alist now, plus there is NO ROMANCE going on in Homeland. We're barking up the wrong tree, or at least closing our minds to who else this could be.
I liked him in Life, and his speech at the Emmys was so charming that I hope I'm wrong about my guess!
Other hit shows on the cable...
Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) is British and divorced. And I just can't see him having sex with Maggie Siff (who's getting married) or Katey Sagal.
Jack Huston (the sniper in Boardwalk Empire) is British but his character doesn't get much action in the bed...
@ Lisa - I love it because I am CONSTANTLY second guessing Brodies intentions. Every little teeny tiny nuance on his face makes me switch back and forth. And poor Carrie, I feel for her because I am just like her at work. I have the same type of mentor who is like a dad/judge to me but I am usually right in my instincts too. His wife irritates the shit out of me and although his daughter is a bad actress, I really really really like how they're developing her position on the show. Will she rat dad out? Who knows, but I will keep watching! :)

On Homeland I don't want to spoil people but if you watched last season yeah there was "romance" of sorts btwn Carrie & Brody. And btwn him and his wife. Not what most would call normal ones, but still. That being said I don't know him personally so I can't say whether his wife would cut off his balls or whether he is a serial cheater. He just seems to me like someone who might think this success he has=he's a BFD, and the actress who plays his wife... well her Emmy dress I think should be my argument. But who knows. And full disclosure I did stop watching Homeland after the first season because 1) I felt like the premise was already getting old/overhyped in the first season and 2) the subject matter is a little too close to home for me(when you care for someone w type 1bipolar IRL, you don't really need to watch it on TV, although Ms. Danes did do an amazing job). I guess I'm perplexed as to how people know there will be no romance on Homeland when it's only 2 eps into the season, yet they are likely filming or have just filmed the final eps right now, but ok.
Ok so other huge hit cable shows... people have been thru True Blood. No one on Dexter fits this bill. Tons of people on GoT are foreign born and I don't really know anything about any of their married lives. So... what are other huge cable hit shows? Other than the shows brought up here and Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad are there any other huge hit cable shows?

I know I'm late to this but it's definitely NOT Andrew Lincoln. I know quite a few people who live in the town where they tape TWD & trust me at least one of them would know if he was cheating on his wife. The town is VERY tiny & quite a few of my friends love to go walkerstalking, as they call it. They go hang out on set & talk to the actors.
Everything I've heard about Andrew is that he's super sweet & really loves his wife.
I had no idea! But does the twin look as fine as Ryan? Mr Eve is a twin and I think he's the better looking one but I'm biased of course
