If it's Kim Basinger I'm surprised that didn't end up as a blind item or in the news. Alec wouldn't pass up the opportunity (and HUGE opportunity this would be) to make Kim into a monster.

Mel has never won . She was only good in one movie and has always been a pretty crumby actress ...she even sucks on Raising Hope .

It's probably Melanie. She was once quoted as smoking pot with her kids but later regretted doing it. She wanted to be the parent that allowed drug us her presence.. thinking it was worse if they were with other minors on the streets
I'm not buying Ireland as the answer. Baldwin would have a shit fit, and would take pleasure in "outing" Basinger as a horrible mother and drug addict. She's in the photos today, but I'm still not buying it.

sadly cosign Kim & Ireland- Kim's mental health issues would make her prone to drug abuse when she is not medicated - sadly they are very much hereditary but her mom (who has the same issues) I don't think had much access to coke so she was just known as really unstable and nasty. Yeah I'm from her neighborhood, same high school, literally (although almost 20 years removed from each other) and her fam is well known in Athens GA. Her mom, Miss Ann, was particularly known for her antics while I still lived there.
I think it's possible AB has a shred of decency/cares about his own image a lot and might not want to expose Kim's issues because what does that say about him not taking full control of the situation a lot earlier?

NOT my girl Cher. She doesn't use drugs, and I don't think she drinks, either, even in moderation. The only drugs she's ever tried included uppers as a young teen and pot with some girlfriends after her divorce from Sonny. She didn't like the sped-up speed high and she didn't like the lost-time feeling from pot. She hates caffeine, even, because she hates that wired feeling. She's not afraid of snakes, so to do that freaked-out scene in THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, she drank tons of coffee to effectively flip out.
She's stated that she has never even tried coke, and Teri Garr once ran into her and said that the joke in H'wood was that they were going to erect a statue of the two of them for being the only two women in town who'd never tried coke.
She just hates drugs in general due to the issues faced by her father and Gregg Allman.
