#1 This A list film actress and really she is one of the very few, seems to have been working her magic again. Her magic that causes men to drool and do stupid things. Her latest victim is a B lister but if going by talent alone would be A list all the way. Long term girlfriend is no more all because he has mistaken our actress's on set affection and confused it with true love which is definitely NOT on her to do list. The actor is on the to do list if you know what I mean, but not true love.

Scarlett is an idiot. Bardem is amazingly hot AND nice and devoted. He wouldn't try to control her and he would respect her. Oh...right.
Disagree with Scarlett as B+. Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man 2, plus all of her noms and awards.
Would this be during the Woody Allen movie? Wasn't Penelope Cruz there too?

What Izzie Marceaux said. Enty is subtracting a grade point from Scarlett's list average probably because she hooked up with Sean Penn.
She's a mouth breather and a dim bulb, men mistake that for hard to get/distant/frosty/unattainable/a challenge, when really she's just having a hard time keeping track of her train of thought, and keeps getting lost.
Sherry that's what I was thinking. So he broke up with his long time girlfriend for Scarlett but she blew him off so he started seeing Penelope Cruz? Sounds like a mess. Didn't he have a rumored affair with Julia Roberts on the set of Eat Pray Love?

@Sherry Yes, this would be the Woody Allen film. Even though Bardem and Cruz had worked together in the past, they didn't hook up until during or after they made this film. My guess is Bardem realized Scarjo wasn't into him as he'd thought and took up with PCruz.
BTW, Bardem had a long term gf who was an interpreter. That's who he learned english from.

Isn't there a rumor that Bardem can't keep it in his pants? Cheated on ex with Penelope and supposedly cheated on Penny too? (love the name Penny) They seem perfect together, they should brand themselves, do a his and hers perfume, clothing line, etc. they are the hottest latin couple.. they could so do a Posh and Becks style product/marketing world take over. I can see the t.v ad now, whispering in latin, him kissing her neck, in a morrocan ruin... silk blowing in the wind, a close up of sand... your love, our love, we love... Bar-Cruz
Scarlett's A-list. I'm really looking forward to her movie with JGL. She was great in Vicky Cristina Barcalona, and the chemistry with Bardem was definitely there. I've enjoyed all of her acting that wasn't the avengers stuff, and i seriously doubt anybody could have done much with that role. It's funny someone on this site calling her a mouth breather.
I like Bardem as an actor but if he really ditched his long term girlfriend for a girl he just met then he is an asshole but I guess things turned out well for him anyway, he is with Penelope and hopefully keeping his pecker in his pants.
I disagree that Scarlett is A list. Even in 2007. Can she open a movie on her own? Definitely not. She gets cast in high-profile movies, but nobody goes to see a Scarlett J. movie.
I consider Scarlett B list. She's not quite A yet. Or again, if you considered her A List for Lost in Translation.

I agree that ScarJo isn't A list. I think this BI came out when The Nanny Diaries was released, which if memory serves is just about the last time she opened a movie as the lead for a major studio film. And was kind of a bomb.
That said, I don't think she's a mouth breather.
Bardem isn't a prize. He cheats on Penny pretty regularly, but that is supposedly a beard relationship. Penny was really into Selma Hayek her best bud.

Thanks for that time line Hothotheat. Although if he ditched his interpreter, as mentioned down stream here, then maybe that relationship just ran its course. IMHO.

Bardem broke with Patrica Pales in 2005 and there was some rumors on Bardem and Cruz in july 2007
