Kim Kardashian Bikini Cover - Does Awful In Sales

The NY Post has a new article this morning that discusses Kardashian fatigue and they use numbers to back it up. The best example is the cover that got so much press attention. It was Us Weekly's Kim Kardashian in a white bikini cover. The magazine paid $110K for the photo. That is a ton of money for one photo. The magazine usually sells 500K copies and they were hoping for a bump of at least 100K. They dropped 100K and only sold 400K copies of the issue. The article also talks about how all tabloid sales are down when they put a Kardashian on the cover. That is great news for the world who is tired of Kardashian faces staring at them every week when they are trying to buy food and booze.

One thing I don't really agree with is they spoke to an analyst who blames it all on Kanye West. I think he has his own issues, but I think with the Kardashians it is just too much for too long and they need to go away for a decade or so to give everyone a chance to find someone else to idolize and make rich for no reason other than someone was willing to have sex for money.

Remember when the A rating was reserved for someone who accomplished something?

Oh damn. Showing my age again.

One-Eyed Charlie is lucky he's only tortured thru One-Eye.

How the hell is Kim not a Hobbit again? #SouthParkTakeDown

B) Enty, you are part of the over saturation!

Definitely not Kanye's fault. People are just embarrassed to be seen buying anything with a Kardashian face on it!

Well when even the Christmas cards are Satanic and that buffoon calling himself Jesus... I imagine a lot of moms don't feel so warm and fuzzy with that crap in their cart.

After her 72-day publicity stunt, others finally caught the hint this family isn't worth the paper their lies are printed on.

I agree it'd be better if Enty never spoke about them but at least it's never positive. Not like the pr bs you'll see on radar. Pleaseeee let them fade into obscurity soon.

I love Real Housewives and Kardashian stories. Automatically skipping over them makes the page much shorter for me, and on some days I actually get some work done.

Maybe they would sell more mags if they moved them to the pharmacy isle by the syrup of ipecac?

Everybody here is saying nasty things about the Kardashians but it is my fondest wish that Kim and her lovely mother Kris and all of the other wonderful members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan can somehow find a way to reverse this unfortunate slide in popularity and once again Reign Supreme as America's, nay, the world's Royal Family. I just love them all so much.

I love any story that has bad news about the Kraptrashians. Same with Lohan. However, I don't want any stories about Justin Beaver

The next time I'm sick I am calling in with "kardashian fatigue". It's akin to the plauge.
