Blind Items Revealed

August 27, 2013

It is not everyday people, but, this B-/C+ list mostly television actress who is on a hit ABC show was approached by a guy at a party two nights ago. She asked him what he did and he said he worked for an accounting firm. The actress smiled and said, "Sorry, I don't go out with regular people," and walked away.

Is that the girl from Castle? She should take what she can get.

Sugar said...

Uhhhh, ok.

discoflux said...

Yeah. Nathan Fillion's daughter on Castle. Get over yourself, trick.

Nathan - I'm still waiting patiently for you.

@Blondie: +1, I had to google her to figure out who she was.

Candyland said...

@Disco you'll have to get in line behind me! Nathan & Jason Bateman are just dreamy!

Candyland said...

I put Jason in there ' cause I think he and Castle look alike.

Wow... Unless you only eat roses your poo isn't going to smell like them. Get off your high horse missy. You're no better than anyone else.

I really can't stand people like that. It's a shame because I kind of like her on Castle.

Seabee said...

Never heard of her. And I've watched Castle.

I had to google this chick...seriously?! the guy probably didn't know who she was, just thought she was cute...

She's a douche. He knows how to handle the big $.

I have no idea who she is, but good for her - imagine being stuck with an Accountant or, worse, an Auditor! :-/

If I had to be around this every day, mere mortals would not be on my radar, either.

supapimp said...

I wanna sleep with common people. I wanna be with common people like you.

I don't go out with regular people either. Regular people are boring. Give me crazy irregular people any day!

Boishglamorpuss said...

Even a google search didn't help. Never seen her face or heard her name and I watch an unhealthy amount of crappy tv. That said, not a pleasant looking girl. Unattractive. There. I said it.

Linda K said...

Sorry, but the line for Nathan starts behind me and I plan on taking my time :)

AndrewBW said...

She should give him a chance. Who knows, she might be shocked.

D Brown said...

She's 20 years old. At that age any real job is boring.

OneEyeCharlie said...

@Stepforded: or even an... Actuary! The horrors.

She was in We're The Millers" played the daughter of Nick Of German. Had a thing for Kenny the geek who had never kisses a girl

Sprink said...

He might have been horrible. That might have been her line to make him despise her. And it's a good line because then he has an anecdote and it fits into every obsessed-starlet stereotype there is.

Who knows? 20-year-olds are not renown for being truthful about rejection, or knowing how to handle uncomfortable situations.

Let the person who's never given a fake phone number cast the first stone...

NICK OFFERMAN! why do they call it auto correct? It's always auto incorrect for me.

Who is this chick? She probably doesn't go out with regular people because she is in the list down below even those. I was on the Bozo show as a kid and I'm higher on the celebrity list than she is.

Sherry said...

Exactly...Who?

rajahcat said...

what a sweetie

Harry Knuckles said...

"Sweetie" is my cats name. She treats me like a doormat.

Snapdragon said...

Yeah, I have no idea who this person is. With any luck I won't hear of her again.

@supapimp
Are you sure you want to live like common people
You want to see whatever common people see?
You want to sleep with common people,
you want to sleep with common people like me?

Gypsytrill said...

I am a bigtime Nathan fan, ever since Firefly/Serenity, but ladies--we are all wasting out time--he bats for the other team.

Steampunk Jazz said...

@ gypsytrill, I will still give it Nathan a try even if I have to widen my mind to bisexual :-D

TLP said...

??????

Errrn said...

Yeah, I've never heard of her, seen her or even heard of her show and she's awkward looking anyways. She needs to take what she can get. She seems to betting less attractive with age. This is embarrassing for her.

FS said...

He bats for the other team? He's dating a friend of my friend. Is she a beard?

Aoife said...

My first reaction was "who?" Looked her up and recognized her. Second reaction was "really"?

Red said...

@FS whether she knows it or not, yes.

K. Madelyn said...

Uh, @Red & @FS (cc @Gypsytrill & pal):
does this mean you know this man is openly gay or bi & said it was cool to announce this on the internet? Or he's a regular in your fave gay bar, & you've no issue publicly reporting as much? Might be an idea to put your heads down on your desks & take a little Time Out Period.

Why dribble a bit of poison into the career path & life of a working actor who seems a decent sort of person? Does he force himself upon protesting hetero waiters in employee restrooms? Did he give a friend of yours a fake mobile # or something?

Gay community has always loved to share stories about who's a "closeted gay." Before the internet, gay co-workers would tell lurid stories of famous actors' same-sex pecadillos. But even the worst gossips tended to agree that the 1980s NYC crew who tried to force-out actors (lo-tech style--by stapling flyers w/photos, names, & claims on city lamp-posts-- were crossing a line. At least there was (sort of) an excuse back then: as the body count grew each day, the Reagan WH responded to AIDS questions with a dismissive "whazzat?" & joked that none of their acquaintances were sick; maybe the reporter had a personal concern; heh, heh?

Nate F seems pretty harmless; decent, even. He gets crushed on by both sexes, & can generate believable chemistry &/or connection with almost any female co-star. He doesn't appear to be exploiting anyone, nor is he rolling in $$$ from some Big Franchise. Why mess with the heads & personal lives of a fellow commenter & a friend?

There's fun gossip, bitchy gossip, & then there's the kind of rumors that can really eff with an actor's career & life. If it concerns some constipated twit who shuns "regular people?" OK; there are plenty of those, but the '80s flyer-posters were wrong often as not. Why risk harming actors who feel lucky every time they get a gig, respect each job, co-workers-- + their bldg doormen & expensive-but-skillful accountants?

IMO, it's just s well if nobody can locate 'Castle' on TV; saw a couple of eps online 1st season, & it looked pretty awful. Could be more of a career killer than people wondering about the male lead's gender pref. If the show had a wider viewership the whole cast could end up doing forgotten Neil Simon plays on the dinner theater circuit (except MS Irregular, who might find live dinner theater too challenging ;).
